Customers say: Quick response

"Oliver Landscaping reached out to me immediately upon receiving the driveway clearing request. They showed up same day, after sundown, to clear the driveway. They communicated consistently on their timeline and very courteous and conscientious with the work. I was immensely grateful as the driveway was very icy and I was unable to clear it own my own. It was much needed as I was unable to leave for necessary errands to support my mom, who lives with me. Thank you so much! Such a lifesaver!"

"Wilber Bonilla from Greenery landscaping is in the process of landscaping our property, adding a stepping stone walkway and has built us a lovely 16'x32' interlocking paver patio. We are beyond ecstatic with his work. He has great suggestions and listens to our desires in making our property beautiful, but keeping it low maintenance. Once the weather permits he will add a stepping stone walkway and more plants/shrubs. Wilber contacted us through home advisors after we requested a patio estimate. He has been in business for himself for 2 years now but has 15 years experience. Wilber and his team are meticulous and have gone above and beyond our expectations."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can absolutely make your own mulch, and there are a few ways to go about it. First, you can lay down pine needles or mulched leaves if you’re mulching in the fall. In the spring and summer, you can use mulched grass clippings. Alternatively, you can lay down a few layers of newspaper in your garden and gently wet the paper to keep it in place.

The pros are the precise treatments, such as aeration and fertilization, which protect and prepare your lawn for thriving warmer months.

Branches, leaves, grass clippings, and landscaping debris are typically collected.

It may sound icky, but yes, urine encourages microbial activity that breaks down organic matter faster. It’s rich in nitrogen, which helps balance carbon-heavy materials like dry leaves or straw. Use sparingly and apply it to a well-balanced pile, not one already high in nitrogen.

Post-dethatching, lawn recovery includes watering, fertilizing, and reseeding as necessary to restore health and promote growth.
