Small jobs welcome

"This company has been doing my lawn service, etc. for about 2 years, never had any problems at all, best service I've ever had! They have also done pressure washing, gutter cleaning and my latest project built an outside privacy patio for me. Fantastic! I can't say enough good things! Pamela E."

Customers say: Quick response

"Oliver Landscaping reached out to me immediately upon receiving the driveway clearing request. They showed up same day, after sundown, to clear the driveway. They communicated consistently on their timeline and very courteous and conscientious with the work. I was immensely grateful as the driveway was very icy and I was unable to clear it own my own. It was much needed as I was unable to leave for necessary errands to support my mom, who lives with me. Thank you so much! Such a lifesaver!"

"They wasted no time getting my tree down. They are awesome and I definitely recommend them. I have a small fenced in back yard with 2 buildings and they got this huge tree down without disturbing anything. Great job!!!"

"Wilber Bonilla from Greenery landscaping is in the process of landscaping our property, adding a stepping stone walkway and has built us a lovely 16'x32' interlocking paver patio. We are beyond ecstatic with his work. He has great suggestions and listens to our desires in making our property beautiful, but keeping it low maintenance. Once the weather permits he will add a stepping stone walkway and more plants/shrubs. Wilber contacted us through home advisors after we requested a patio estimate. He has been in business for himself for 2 years now but has 15 years experience. Wilber and his team are meticulous and have gone above and beyond our expectations."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Reducing household waste is the best way to save money on junk removal costs in the long run. Reusable kitchen, pantry, and cleaning supplies will make a large dent, as will creating an easy compost and recycling system in your home. Additionally, create an ongoing practice of recycling, donating, or repurposing items that are ready to go.

Yes, it's perfectly safe and environmentally sound to mulch leaves with a lawn mower, provided that the layer of leaves isn't too thick and the leaves are dry and crispy. Too many wet leaves get sticky and will clog the mower. Thick layers of leaves can suffocate the lawn after the leaves have been mulched, so the layer should be no more than six inches thick.

To clean an estate, start by locating all important documents, which you’ll need to sort through. Have the mail forwarded, change the locks, and take inventory of the entire estate. Once you know what you’re dealing with, create a plan and a timeline for the cleanout. Start clearing out rooms and sorting items to donate, sell, or get rid of. Finally, deep clean the property.

If you don’t remove a bush properly, it’ll come back each year. Removing the root system entirely is the only way to ensure the plant doesn’t have a chance to grow back. You can also use natural weed killers or you can choose to suppress the area with landscaping fabric. Additionally, consider planting alternative, non-invasive vegetation to deter the return of thorn bushes.

No, definitely not. Pulling weeds by hand is the single most effective way to remove them because you're eliminating the entire plant—roots and all—so it won’t have a chance to grow or spread. Setting time aside a few times per week to pull weeds can keep them at bay. If the number of weeds gets overwhelming, then you can resort to other methods.
