Get matched with top handymen in Bethlehem, NC

"I was looking for someone to do some small projects after buying a small cabin. I live in Florida and used Angi to find a handyman that can do the projects in a short period of time. I called A Step Above Handyman and spoke to Howard. I told him what I was looking for and the next day he and his team looked at the cabin gave me quote and started working that same day."

"Brandon did a great job replacing the ramp to my storage building. He's a nice guy and reasonable with his rates. I will use him again for future home repair needs!!"

"Roy contacted us almost immediately and came out within 45 min. He located the beeping sound that was related to a battery that had gone bad. He fixed it and did not charge us anything. As he was telling us about some of his services which included painting we told him that our porch needed painting so he took measurements and provided us with a cost estimate to complete the job and we will contact him when the weather is warm enough to do it. He is very kind and polite. Wee liked him very much."

"He was a great guy with good experience, on time and his prices were very reasonable and fair."

"Andrew completed all work professionally and skillfully. Communication (texts etc) was excellent. High level of home repair knowledge and experience. Would hire again."

"Matt showed up on short notice and got the job done really well."

"I’ve worked with this handyman on a variety of small projects, primarily electrical work, and have been consistently impressed. He’s reliable, knowledgeable, and handles each job with a high level of professionalism. Beyond electrical, he’s also helped with general repairs like patching drywall and light woodworking, and the quality of his work has always been solid. He communicates clearly, shows up when expected, and gets the job done efficiently without cutting corners. It’s hard to find someone this dependable who can handle multiple types of work well—I’d definitely recommend him for both electrical and general handyman needs."

"This company has been doing my lawn service, etc. for about 2 years, never had any problems at all, best service I've ever had! They have also done pressure washing, gutter cleaning and my latest project built an outside privacy patio for me. Fantastic! I can't say enough good things! Pamela E."

"Highly recommend Brandon with Wingler’s Handyman Services for any home improvement needs. When our subfloor started showing signs it needed replacing, we reached out for an estimate. His pricing was very reasonable and he got us scheduled quickly—which matters with flooring issues. From the moment he walked in, I felt confident we were in good hands. He’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made the whole process feel manageable, even with an older house that loves surprises. And of course, we had a few. 😅 Plumbing leaks, extra bracing needed… Brandon handled it all without missing a beat. What stood out most was his attention to detail. He took his time and made sure everything was done right, not just “good enough.” The finished floors turned out better than I imagined. We’re beyond happy and already have a list of future projects for him."
