However, after completing the work, he was not happy with it and explained that the old (1950s) floor had too much moisture, causing some areas to not absorb the finish as well. He refinished the floor a second time with a larger finisher (3 different levels of sandpaper!) at no additional cost. We are happy with the work. I think it tells a lot about someone on a project that doesn’t go as planned. Following up and making it right is very important. We would definitely hire Jason again."

Permits are required when carrying out any structural work, so in most cases, you will need a building permit to cut through a concrete block wall to install a door. Sometimes, these two terms are used interchangeably, but they are separate parts of a door, and each serves a different function. The sill helps ensure the doorframe is secure, and the threshold helps protect the sill and direct water away from the door to prevent leaks.
