We offer several financing options with 12 months same as cash as a free offer to you. Offering seamless steel, higher grade vinyl and price point vinyl siding for rental units or income properties, cultured stone (masonry), fascia, soffits, gutters, roofing (metal and asphalt), replacement & new construction windows.

"I had Big Sky Exterior Designs re-roof my 2000 sq.ft. house and garage due to hail damage from the August 2019 storm. The 4 man crew was qualified and efficient. I asked them if they could finish it in one day and they did. They worked from just after 7:00 am till after 9:00 pm. I was a construction inspector for many years and I know they did a really good job and kept the backyard gates closed keeping my dogs safe. I have found a few nails around the perimeter of the house but that is to be expected as it was almost dark by the time they were doing the clean up. I would definitely hire them again."

Many people remove aluminum siding to get to the wood underneath, allowing them to paint, stain, or finish the wood to give the home a brand-new aesthetic. With that in mind, you find plywood and related types of wood underneath aluminum siding, but you also run into fiber cement board, strand board, and a diverse array of other building materials. However, it’s best to remove clapboard siding if you plan on replacing it with new siding. Burying wood clapboards underneath new siding can create risks of rot and mold, or hidden insect damage. It can also create warping issues over time. Removing clapboards allows you to properly install a new sheathing, as well as clean up the exterior wall and look for any signs of damage.

Composite siding, with proper care, can last 30 years and sometimes more. Because its color has a tendency to fade, you might want to re-paint it every five years or so. Before purchasing composite siding, check the manufacturer’s warranty—you should have a long-term warranty to back up the quality of the product.

Contrary to popular belief, people still do use aluminum siding for their homes—but it’s much less popular than it was in the mid-1900s. The introduction of various types of vinyl siding as an affordable option reduced the demand for aluminum, which is prone to scratching and denting and needs to be repainted every five to 10 years. Given the abundance of house siding options, especially newer and more popular types like stone veneer siding, aluminum siding has simply just fallen out of favor.

Vinyl log siding is durable, rot-resistant, colorfast, and scratch-resistant, and it can last for an average of around 30 years. Some vinyl siding can last for up to 60 years with proper maintenance. You won’t need to repaint or restain this type of siding every several years like you would with wood, so ongoing costs and upkeep will be minimal. Although it’s relatively low maintenance, you should still wash your vinyl log siding twice per year. Doing so will increase its longevity, remove any mold, and retain your home’s curb appeal.
