"Shawn came to work on my washing machine that wasn’t operating. When the first repair didn’t fix the problem, he did more research and came back with another part that fixed the problem. I appreciate his communication about scheduling and about ordering necessary parts. I appreciate his commitment to solving the problem. And, I appreciate his work ethic. I would recommend Shawn to anyone in need of handyman type repair."

"Bruce called me and was able to come the next day for a walk through as ton what was needed. He booked me the next day and then called later to ask if I wanted him to come earlier in the day as he freed up. I agreed and he came with assistants tonnage the job. They were amazing, efficient and very knowledgeable. The shades were hung, low profile ceiling lamp/fan was hung and my mirror was hung as well. I am thrilled with their help and will hire them again should I need more jobs."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered a greater liability due to their potentially hazardous nature, and the added replacement cost of the pool is factored into your home's rebuilding cost when considering coverage limits. The amount of the increase can range from as little as $50 to a few hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance provider, location, current coverage, and the safety features installed. Before building a pool, it is highly recommended to contact your insurance agent to get an estimate, discuss their specific guidelines and requirements, and factor the increased premium into your total pool installation costs.

An in-ground concrete pool will carry the highest price tag of all available types of pools, with architectural or freeform concrete pools found at the top end of the price range. Although the upfront costs for a concrete pool are high, these pools tend to be more durable than pools made from other materials and will last the longest.

Fiberglass pools last the longest because they need the least amount of maintenance and do not have liners that can affect a pool's integrity. Concrete pools last the longest, next to fiberglass.

Pool chemical levels should include a pH between 7.4 and 7.6, alkalinity between 80 to 120 ppm, and chlorine from 1 to 3 ppm. The size and type of your pool determine additional chemical levels, such as stabilizers and pool shock, but you can get to know these numbers using our pool maintenance 101 guide.

Endless pool may refer to one of two things. For some, it’s a term used interchangeably with infinity pool. Because infinity pools don’t have a visible edge, they look endless. For others, it’s a brand of jetted lap pool. Endless pools are engineered to fit in small spaces, but provide the benefits of a full-sized pool (think: aquatic exercise or hydrotherapy). You can even use them indoors, and they’re relatively budget-friendly because of their small size.
