Small jobs welcome

"Darren completed the work within two days after giving us an estimate and reviewing the materials to be used. He was professional and finished the job in the timeframe anticipated. The porch deck fits beautifully into the design of the house. We are really pleased with the results."

"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"Loay Jabbar provided the information I needed quickly and clearly. I immediately signed up for full coverages for our two homes because of the discounts offered and because of the quality of service that Loay is saying and promising Choice Home Warranty provides to its customers. I have bad experiences with other home warranty companies so I am hoping I found the best company that would deliver the best service."

"Great knowledgeable expertise. True to the quote. Courteous workers. I am very grateful to Russ and his crew for the lovely work they performed for me. Iâ ve been looking for many years for someone to repair and re-stucco my perimeter wall! It was degrading and falling into disrepair year after year."

"Over all there service was pretty good, took care of issues that I had over the 10 years I had the contract. They have very long hold times when you call in to speak to a customer service rep (15 min or more). I sold my house and needed to cancel my service, called several times hold times were very long. Then once I reached a customer service rep they had to transfer me to someone else. I called yesterday and reached a customer service rep she said she could not transfer me because the wait time was too long. She would have someone call me in 24 hours. She also assured me that I would not be charged for a new month because she took out my credit card info out of their system. ( was not true) I waited the 24 hour, no call back. I called again, this time after 15 min, I explained what my issue was and was placed on hold for 5 more. Someone else answered and we started all over. She canceled my contact as requested but told me I would not receive a credit back that I was told would not be charged (aprox $57) because the customer service reps are not trained in retention and should not tell me I would not be charged. She said if I did it yesterday I would not have been charged. I told her I tried to do it yesterday and explained what took place yesterday. She then said, well it will be a service fee then and will not be returned. She then said your contract is cancelled have a nice day. Being a customer for over 10 years you can't return $57 that was charged because you have very long hold time or did not call me back. I will never use them again."

Custom Home Builders questions, answered by experts

The average build timeline for a home is between six and 12 months, with timelines pushing toward the upper end of that range if you’re creating a custom design or need a lot of land preparation before getting started. Hiring a general contractor or a custom homebuilder will help speed up the process, as you’ll see fewer delays between different parts of the build process getting done.

The term “cottage” is subjective, so there’s no rigid definition, but it generally refers to a small home with simple and purposeful architecture that embraces nature and focuses on charm over everything else. Cottages are typically 1 or 1 1/2-stories tall, usually with gabled roofs, and are built out of natural materials that help make the structure a part of the surrounding nature rather than something that stands out from it. A big part of what makes a cottage a cottage is the decor, which includes natural materials from the nearby area.

If you want to make your home eco-friendly, enjoy low maintenance, and love the fact that its looks will take people’s breath away (and not because they were trying to blow your house down), then a modern brick home is right for you. You can hire a mason to get the building process started for your brick home.

But if you’re not fond of the color and don’t want to deal with the process of repointing or other repairs, consider going with vinyl or wood. These materials offer a lower cost. While they tend to require more maintenance, they don’t cost nearly the same as exterior brick house repair.

Green homes are often more expensive to build, averaging around $200 per square foot compared to the $150 per square foot you’d spend to build a standard home. However, green homes can save you money on your utility bills by consuming less energy or creating energy using solar panels or wind turbines on-site. They’re more expensive to build, but they often end up costing less in the long run.

How long it takes to build a custom home or rebuild a home after a disaster varies depending on many factors, but averages between seven and 14 months. Smaller homes or homes that don’t need a re-poured foundation may take less time to build than larger homes or homes without an existing foundation. Material availability, contractor schedules, and permit and inspection timelines can all affect how long your house takes to build.
