"I wish I could give Innovative Basement Authority a negative rating. Run away from this company as fast as you can. Beware- they are changing their name to Ground Works. Probably because of all the negative reviews. We paid a substantial amount of money to install one of their basement systems after having water problems. The initial sales guy was a very high-pressure seller, trying to get us to sign a contract the same day he came out. Fast forward a year. They told us they needed to come out for an inspection. The sales guy ?found? $40,000 work of additional work that was ?urgent?. He used scare-tactics and tried to convince us we needed to sign on the dotted line immediately. Because of course mold is going to make my family sick. It seemed sketchy to me, but I was able to get the guy to leave without us signing that day. I immediately called our trusted home inspector, and he said the sales guy was trying to sell us things we did not need. He also said he had talked to others"

Better Built Decks is a Montana based business. Started business in Fort Collins Colorado, however originally from here in Montana. I, Nathen Wolf as main operator, started working at 14 years old as an employee of Joe Webber from Everett Washington. Joe was a very talented and brilliant builder, Joe obtained an engineering degree and shared with me thru the years a ton of his knowledge such as building techniques, the structure of wood joints, properties of expansion, etc. We started off leveling and supporting structures such as houses, old buildings, and garages. then literally gutting everything such as wiring, plumbing, the whole interior and exterior getting ready for a complete rebuild. I was very fortunate to work with Joe, this experience has provided me the knowledge to install structures that could practically stand a lifetime or longer. Most projects are started and completed by me in a timely manner. If needed, I will normally hire very honest and skilled exempt contractors and sometime some highly recommended temp workers. No Job is too big, or too small.

"We are one of a handful of new construction purchases (within the last year). During the build process, they were great to work with. Once we closed, all that changed. "I need to revise a previous review. Jim did do excellent work. His cuts were absolutely plumb, straight and horizontal. Previously I made a statement regarding the precision of his cuts and that was only due to one cut extending outside of the area necessary to install the window. I previously stated that I would not use Jim again, which is misleading. I merely meant that, being fairly handy myself, I would feel confident enough to do the same job myself in the future after having seen how it is done. As far as the quality of workmanship, I have no significant reason for criticism. The final product is excellent, complies with code, and provides much better lighting for our future basement bedrooms than what was there before."
