"The service we received was above the other companies around here, and for the prices available you are going to pay less than half the price that other services will. We were having trouble with our walkways because of time constraints as well as finances and the dirt being there aging so long. The owner came and cleared our walkways around the house and through the yard and it was a completely different look. It looked brand new and when we asked about the price, for the first time and for being as we were struggling, he was willing to do the first time for free. He was completely professional as well as personable, and I would recommend Gutt'r Done over any service I've received in the past. The owner personally comes out and quotes it and explains it to understand what you're receiving as well as why the pricing is that way, to provide services that are actually affordable."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.
