"Customer service 0/10. A very surly person answers the phone. They promise a call back. Nope. I had to keep calling. A technician arrived without notifying me he was coming, and was rude and aggressive. He said he?d been forced to come but he didn?t know why, and he didn?t want to be there. He rattled a few wires and declared the unit ?toast.? I put in a call to Renzy (owner?) asking him to call me. No one would pick up the phone so I left a message. Nope. Haven?t heard a thing. I do NOT recommend this company."

If your inspector is doing a Level 1 inspection of the chimney, expect it to take roughly an hour. A pro usually can do a Level 2 inspection in less than two hours. Never operate your fireplace if the damper is sealed shut and you cannot open it, as deadly smoke will quickly fill your home. If your fireplace damper is broken, have it repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
