"I had some iron doors installed in my house about a year ago and a spot had rusted out and after fighting with the company I bought it from to come repair it I had enough and got in touch with Williams Welding Repair. He came to do an estimate and I could tell I had made the right choice. Very clean and professional and had the job done im a few hours. The gaping hole in the bottom of my door has been seamlessly patched up and I know who to go too now with any issues that may arise in the future. Thank you so much Sam!"

Metal Fabrication and Restoration questions, answered by experts

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

Pet-resistant, vinyl-coated polyester is one of the strongest window screen materials available, with some manufacturers touting a 7x increase in strength compared to standard fiberglass screens. Stainless steel security screens are also extremely strong, but they’re not suitable for coastal areas due to the risk of corrosion from salty sea air. If sea air isn’t a concern, stainless steel is extremely tough.

Common materials used include aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and copper, each selected for their properties suited to specific repair needs.

General contractors use subcontractors to complete specific parts of a construction project. For example, a general contractor might have construction experience but need a subcontractor to install plumbing lines in a new home.

Yes, an LVL beam is more affordable than the cost of a steel I-beam, totaling between $50 and $200 per linear foot as opposed to the $100 to $400 per linear foot you’d pay for a steel I-beam. Not only is the wood material more affordable than steel, but it’s also more similar to traditional wooden beams and doesn’t require as much retrofitting to connect joists.
