"I used All American Inspection & Testing for an inspection on the purchase of a new construction home. They were very thorough with their findings, and I received the inspection report quickly after they finished. They found issues on the home, so as a first time home buyer of a new construction home, it raised a red flag. Not only did they do a great job, they saved me THOUSANDS of dollars on purchasing the new home and the potential of spending more money fixing it. Thank you All American Inspection & Testing! I will use them again in the future, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone!"

"I received Mr. Walker's number from my brother. He performed our home inspection when we were trying to buy a new home a few years ago. We were very pleased with his services, and we have had no issues with our home since then EXCEPT for the few things he told us to monitor. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a good quality inspection with a fair, competitive price."

"Stanley came out and took time to thoroughly inspect our foundation and proposed a solution to level the floors and waterproof the crawl space. Really appreciated his thorough service and clear advice."

"It went really well. The technicians gave me an excellent overview of what needed to be done so that we could work w/permitting, as inspectors, and our local electric company. In short they were knowledgeable, considerate, and really easy to work with."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

Generally, no. The letter you receive from your landlord may say that they’ll do the apartment inspection whether or not you are home. If you want more time or you want to reschedule to a time that you will be home, you can ask your landlord, but they may not be required to honor your request.

It depends on the bank and the extent of the issue. Some banks will lend against homes with minor foundation damage, but most won’t if the issue is structural since the home acts as collateral for the mortgage. Banks that offer renovation loans might still finance a home with structural problems. More minor issues like settling cracks and intermittent problems with humidity are unlikely to stop a bank from financing.

Even if a homebuyer has no intention of using the fireplace installed in the home they’re thinking of buying, it’s vital to know when the fireplace and chimney were last inspected. Aside from learning that it can operate properly, homebuyers will want to know that the structures themselves are sound and won’t affect the integrity of the surrounding home. With full knowledge, homebuyers can then make plans for any necessary repairs before they move in.

Permit fees sometimes include the cost of a solar panel inspection, but it depends on local regulations. In some locations, the inspection process involves several site visits with a preinstallation, in-progress, and post-installation inspection. We’ve covered the latter. Working with an experienced installer can help you through each step of the inspection process.

Regular inspections, finishing maintenance, and updating systems like HVAC for efficiency.
