"Called at the end of October and made and appt for Oct. 28th. We were told that the price would be $200.00 but that they would offer us the coupon rate of $175.00 after asking if we had a coupon, which we didnt. We got a call from the office Friday the 28th stating that the technician scheduled to come out had to go to the hospital and could they reschedule. We told them sure, no problem. They reschedule with a date of Nov 1st at 12:00 pm and my husband verified time as he works the afternoon shift. He called me with time and date to mark the calendar. On Tuesday the 1st he called me around 1:00 at work and said they had not shown or called. I told him to call them and and see what was going on and that we would need to reschedule. He called and we were then told that they had Wednesday, Nov 2nd on their sheet or our appt.. He told them that he had been told the 1st and that it was too late that day anyway as he needed to get ready for work. They were due out around 11:00 or 11:30 on Wednesday. My husband called me again Wednesday when they were an hour or so late and I told him to call them again to see if they were on their way since he had to be at work by 3:00 and if they werent to just cancel and I would call someone else. He called them and was told they would be there soon. They did arrive and as far as their work, it was done timely and well and my husband said they were very professional and seemed to know what they were talking about. When it came time to pay the bill he told my husband it would be $200.00. Since we usually pay in cash we always have the correct amount for payment before anyone arrives. My husband told him that we were told $175.00. He asked if we had a coupon and my husband said not that he knew of and the tech stated that they sometimes give the coupon rate when booking the appt. so that would be fine. We understand that things happen beyond our control and we had no problem with the first appt cancellation but with the other problems with times and dates of appts and trying to schedule around to make sure my husband could be at work on time, we felt that follow ups and/or phone calls to let us know when someone is running late would have been the proper thing to do. I also feel that the coupon rate or any rate quoted to a client should have been noted somewhere on our paperwork so that there was no question as to the amount we were to pay."

"I have a contract with them so I have to use them again. It pays for itself eventually if you get good repair people. You don't control who they send."
Finding mouse droppings without seeing any mice is a common sign of an infestation because mice are nocturnal and skilled at hiding from humans. Droppings are often the first and most visible evidence of their presence. The location, quantity, and freshness of the droppings can help you determine where the mice are most active and how severe the infestation might be. Since mice are active at night and often travel through hidden pathways like inside walls, you may not see them directly. It's important to look for other signs of an infestation, such as gnaw marks, scratching sounds, or greasy trails along walls. If you find droppings, consider setting traps or contacting a professional exterminator to address the issue.
Across most of the United States, the fall season sees rats at their prime activity levels. As temperatures drop, rats become more active, spurred by the weather shift to seek shelter as winter approaches. During this time, their curiosity and energy peak, driving them to explore what your home and its surroundings might offer.
If you’re wondering whether silverfish can fly, they can’t—they don’t have wings. Instead, they wriggle their bodies and move quickly in a fish-like motion, hence their name. Despite their speed, they are limited to crawling along floors, walls, and ceilings. Silverfish are known for their agility and ability to hide in small cracks and crevices, but they cannot jump or fly.
Fleas are leaps and bounds ahead of ticks when jumping from person to person. The average flea can cover 1.9 meters per second. It can also jump over 50 times its own height. Fleas rely solely on their magnificent leaps to jump hosts. While ticks can crawl relatively quickly, their strategy is usually to sit and wait for a victim to "hitchhike" in tall grass.
You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.
Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.
