They are not just good, but cooperative with my needs as well. I have 4 dogs, so before they come for their scheduled visit, they call ahead so that I have time to take the dogs out and then put them inside the house before they arrive to do their work. Also, while they are here working, if they are working long enough, if I need to take the dogs out, they simply go out front so that I can take care of my dogs' business and then they get back to work. Actually that was their idea. If you call someone other than Strong, good luck to you is all I can say. When a hurricane comes - and it will - and when I get some shingles blown off, or siding, or any damage at all, Strong will be my first call. It's comforting to know that they are a one stop shop. I want to reiterate that the guys working for him have literally been working for him for years. I know I am going on about things, but I've had so many bad situations with other contractors in the past that when I meet a quality group of people, I can't resist singing their praises. I give them an A+++++++. After Hurricane Katrina, I called on a whim to see if I could reach them, since our heat pump had been flooded. I knew that their shop had been flooded, but I tried and got voice mail. Two days later Mike Mayo was at our house, and in two weeks we had a new heat pump installed and air conditioning to help dry out the house. We have used Mayo to service, expand, and repair our system whenever it was needed - most recently to replace a faulty relay. They have always been responsive and professional. Highly recommended! I called Mr. Tony on Friday, 2/8/2013. He said he was pulling up to a job and would call me back. He got my address and said he may come out the following day (Saturday). I never heard anything and figured he may have just forgotten since he was busy (it happens). I then called him back on Monday, 2/11/2013 and reminded him. He was very apologetic, took my information again, and we set up an appointment for the following day, Tuesday 2/12/2013 at 2:00pm. I never received a phone call. It's a shame that I wasn't able to do business with TJ's, after seeing the reviews I would have liked to use a local business rather than the illegals or a big box store. Looks like I need to take my business elsewhere. "},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ms/long-beach/tj%27s-roofing-and-general-construction-co-reviews-451519.htm"},"position":10}]}

Flaps Labor has done several large and small jobs for us from moving to hurricane repairs They approached each job in a timely manner, on budget and professionally.
The crew was punctual and very professional. They did an excellent job of removing several large limbs and hurricane debris. They left a clean job site and worked diligently to ensure no further damage was done to property. Their price for the work was fair and reasonable!
The company was running late from previous appointments. Because I was their last appointment I asked if they might be too tired to clean my apartment that day. The owner assured me they were fine with coming in the evening. I was very happy with their service until I looked around my...

I have used Burt's company numerous times. Frankly, to call anyone else is just a waste of time, since Burt's people are so experienced, calling someone else will only delay the issue because then Burt's people will have to undo what someone else has done before they can fix the job...

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

Hurricane Film questions, answered by experts
Yes, your roof will leak if you have missing or damaged shingles. Severely damaged or missing shingles are essentially holes in your roof, leading to water seeping into your attic and ceilings. The underlayment underneath your roofing is a secondary form of protection, so you should fix shingle damage and replace missing ones as quickly as possible.
Pea-sized hail can damage a roof if it experiences hailstorms often, as it slowly causes cracks and deterioration to your shingles. Usually, one hailstorm with pea-sized hail won’t damage your roof, but if you see other damage to your car, grill, and other property, it may be worthwhile to get in touch with your insurance company and have a local roofer come out for an inspection.
You may be wondering if you really need the snow removed from your roof. Since most roofs can only handle 20 pounds per square foot of snow accumulation, there is a tipping point when you are suddenly at risk of roof collapse. This can cause a lot of damage, not just to your home, but to your belongings, too. It also poses a physical danger to your family. Also, a lot of snow on a roof makes it more susceptible to ice dams, leaks, and water damage.
Homeowners insurance may cover basement flooding, but only if a covered peril causes it. For example, a burst pipe may be covered if the event was sudden and accidental, not caused by wear and tear or homeowner neglect. Flooding caused by extreme weather is only covered if you have a separate flood insurance policy.
Tipping roofers, even for emergency roof repairs, isn’t really expected. However, it can be a very nice gesture, especially if the roofer is saving your home from extensive damage. Tips don’t need to be in the form of money, either. You can make them a meal or bring them coffee—these gestures are often more appreciated as they’re more personal than cash.
