HORRIBLE! Worst work ever. The boards are falling from the ceiling. Charged a fortune and won't come back.

Tony called when he said he would. Tony and his one man crew came when they said they would getting started at 7:30 a.m. They came on a Monday holiday when the stores were mostly closed. Tony had to run from my home to a city 50 miles away (100 miles round trip) to get the needed part. It is only a $100 repair but I paid extra for the prompt work done perfectly. HIRE THIS GUY!

We hired Tony for the above job through Strong Roofing. We've since hired Tony to perform some non-roofing jobs around our house.
Tony is punctual, responsive (via text and phone), polite and a nice guy. He is one of the VERY few home improvement guys I feel comfortable being in the house with alone. He knows what needs to be done an offers options on how to fix it.
He stands by his work. After he made the repairs, he called me after the next couple rainstorms to make sure nothing was leaking and all was well.
I feel like I'm getting a trusted uncle to do the work for us--vice a guy who wants a quick buck. He understands building customer relationships for the long haul is the way to make a living. And he's right! He's done a great job on everything, so we keep calling him for other things that have nothing to do with roofing.
He also cleans up EVERYTHING around the house. After working on a job, there's no sign that he has ever been here. He's like a ninja! He swoops in, fixes things and cleans up any evidence.
We had a window leak last night. I texted Tony at 8:30 p.m. and asked if he could come check it out to recommend what to do--short term and long term. He said he'd be at the house at 7 a.m. and he was here at 7 a.m. on the dot!
He suggested to caulk it for the short-term while my husband and I figure out what to do long-term. He's going to try to make it back after the sun dries out the window a bit to caulk it up, which will buy us a few days' afternoon thunderstorms as we figure out what to do with this old house.
Tony has my strongest recommendation.
(I wish I knew Tony before we had Handyman HouseTechs out. Tony has fixed nearly everything Handyman was paid to fix.)

Went very well. Of course such repairs are never a lot of fun but TJ's was thorough, timely, and professional. He returned several times during and after rain storms to check the work and make certain all leaks were sealed.

As expected. Had a minor rain leak at the old fan location. Most of the work was done during a time frame with rain. Fan had to be puchased and installed and roof repaired when weather conditions permitted.

All the workers were very professional and hard working. They were able to explain in detail all the questions I placed to them regarding the work. They were very respectful of my property and protected the floor and cleaned up very well after the job was finished!
I could not have chosen a better company to do the work that was done and will definately use them again in the future for any or all of my construction work!

Excellent service in all respects. Tony Long promptly returned my call and I had an estimate the same day, with service completed the next morning. I had the same leak repaired a few years ago, but apparently it wasn't actuall fixed; just patched. T.J.'s fixed the problem by replacing the faulty parts. We had a major "rain event" within a few days of the repair and Tony actually called to be certain I had not experienced any leaks. I highly recommend this company and will use again when I need roofing or other general construction repair.

So far so good, no leaks. The job cost a little more than I wanted to pay but overall I'm satisfied with the work. I would recommend Tony.

Wednesday morning (Sept 7th) Tony showed up at 6:45 in the morning with his assistant Jeff. Jeff has been working with Tony for over 18 years and quickly gained my confidence in his abilities. Tony said they would work on the western most dormer first, finish it and then do the other dormer on Wednesday. When they started they quickly found why I was having problems with leakage in the areas where I was having them. I had had a new roof put on just before Katrina, using 100 year GAF Timberlane shingles and had had the dormers rebuilt at the time. The builder, who had subbed out the roofing job, was apparently more concerned with the way the roof looked than how it worked and had instructed the roofer to cover the flashing with shingles in front of the dormer so the flashing wouldn't be seen. Since I had no idea that that wasn't the way it shouldn't be done I was happy with the way it looked...just not the way it turned out. As Tony pointed out to me, if water got trapped in the flashing it had no where to go except under the shingles and any little opening in the felt would allow it to enter the attic. Tony and Jeff stripped all the siding off the dormer and stripped the shingles just far enough out where they could replace only what needed to be done. They used a rubberized material under the flashing (aluminum, not galvanized), replaced the shingles, replaced the siding and then caulked everything so all I would have to do would be paint. They also stripped the siding off the second dormer and put tar paper up in preparation for the work on Thursday. When they came down for the day I asked if they could take down the chimney and roof over where it was. We have a ventless gas fireplace and a chimney isn't necessary and removing it would reduce any chance of a leak...and make it a heck of a lot easier on me because now I wouldn't have to paint it, standing on the steep part of the roof.
Thursday, Tony and Jeff again showed up at 6:45 with another worker, Roger. Roger is an old school carpenter, measure twice, cut once. They had to jack up the second dormer to replace the rotted particle board that formed part of the roof. Apparently the dormer wasn't tied into a rafter on the bad side so they had to reinforce it by scabbing in some 2X4's from the rafter after they replaced the bad roofing wood. When that was complete, Tony went to work on the flashing and shingles for the dormer while Jeff and Roger tackled the chimney. By 1 o'clock everything was complete, all the trash removed and they even blew off the dust and small wood chips from the roof.
Right now I am totally satisfied and hope I will be for many, many years. I can't compliment this crew any more than I have...they were on time, kept busy, finished on time and, to my inexperienced eye, did a excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend them as a group, or as individuals, to work on a project. Two thumbs up!

The roof on our Acadian style house had been leaking on and off for years, we have had four other roofers try to fix the leak which we knew was occuring in the general vacinity of the chimney. A contractor friend had told us to ask the roofers about a cricket, which we did each time, but they all said that was not what was needed. A couple of the roofers came back more than once and a couple came back a third time, but ultimately when we called them to say the roof was still leaking in the same place, the roofers stopped taking our calls. We saw TJ on Angies list and called him. He promptly came out thoroughly checked out our roof and chimney, and told us we needed a cricket. TJ installed the cricket, reflashed the chimney, replaced the shingles as needed (he even did the research to find out what type of shingles we had so they would match) he gave us a 1 year warranty and so far, no leak. TJ also recommended we have our chimney repointed, which we plan to have him do as soon as we can afford to do so. TJ has checked back with us several time to see if the job took care of our problem. We would certainly recommend this firm to anyone who needed roof work done.

After another company came out several times before refunding my money and deeming the leak unfixable without replacing the whole roof, I was referred to TJ's. He showed up on time and took his time, repairing the roof the right way, not the quick way. Word of advice: If your skylight/dormer is leaking, DO NOT accept a silicone repair job! This is a cheap and temporary solution....if it works at all. TJ replaced damaged shingles and installed flashing that should have been there in the first place. He also guarantees his work. It has been about eight months with no problems. Thanks TJ's!
