"This company is reliable and their work is out standing. After I had a flood worth 3 feet of water And molds with curly wooden floors water logged dry walls, they gave my home a complete make over which included home made cabinets that were identical to the originals. I If I needs any other professional contractor their price is right Thanks J BROWN contractor"

"Had a great experience with these guys! Added board and batten to the walls and picture frames molding to the dining room. They were very detailed and made sure we were on the same page the entire project. I kept adding different projects like light fixtures, patching holes on dry wall and much more. I’ll definitely be using them again, as they can do it all!"

Grab Bar Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, it is possible to have both a storm and security door. In fact, this is the best way to go for enhanced protection against intruders and the elements. The storm door will provide weather resistance and added energy efficiency, while the security door will offer maximum protection against break-ins.

Strike plates and security plates are the same thing, but there are strike plates that offer more security than others. For the highest security, look for plates made of heavy-duty steel, reinforced strike plates thicker than regular ones, and extended strike plates. It’s much harder to break into a door with these strike plates because they hold up better to force from attempted entry.

There are ample home security options available today outside of just window bars. Depending on your location, home’s layout, and needs, one or more types of home security systems may be necessary. You could consider doorbell cameras, motion-sensor flood lights, or window and door sensors. And in some cases, you may qualify for homeowners insurance discounts when you install one or more.

Proper installation ensures solid hinges and locks, maintaining home security.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.
