"I have hired Complex Pro to do the weekly and bi-monthly maintenance of our home. Our project consists of 3 acres of lawn and shrubs, a front ditch with raised rose bushes and flower beds, etc... and a fenced back yard. They are very professional, detail-oriented, polite, fairly priced and they go out of their way to make you happy. A window flower box should be deep enough that there’s room for a wide selection of plants and the required amount of soil and gravel. Standard flower boxes are 8 inches deep and 8 inches from front to back. A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi.
