"Lonnie was great to work with. We wanted a few other things done besides the shower and floors and he suggested contractors for us. ALWAYS on time and usually earlier. Cleaned up after the bathroom was remolded. Called about 6 months after finished to make sure everything was as we wanted."

"J&W'S Cleaning has maintained our floors every night (7 days a week) after we would close. They did a fantastic job. Our grocery store has tons of foot traffic with lots of daily maintenance needed. They mopped, buffed, swept and vacuumed as needed. I would I highly recommend Mr. Watson and J & W Cleaning!!!"

"Mr.Moto is very professional and was always on time. His work is beautiful, so much so that when my neighbors came to see my new floors they asked for his contact information. He is an extremely hard worker. I will most definitely use him again and happily refer him to my family and friends."

"He came out and did an amazing job on my hardwood floors. They were covered with footprints and he cleaned, polished, then buffed the floors. He was very thorough and I'm very pleased with the finished look. I would highly recommend him and plan on hiring him again to do my carpet."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

If your floor is still sticky after mopping, chances are you used too much or too little of the cleaning solution. Using too little won’t get all of the grime off, but using too much can leave its own residue. Refer to the cleaning solution’s instructions and dilute it as directed.

Yes, polished concrete floors are worth it for homeowners who want durability, style, and low maintenance in one sleek flooring surface. You get the modern visual appeal of stone or tile with far less upkeep and far less cost. Polished concrete flooring is tough enough for high-traffic areas, it’s a great choice for people with allergies, and it’s easy to clean. If your existing concrete is in good shape, polishing it can give you solid value that shines on for years.

Sweep daily, use appropriate cleaners, and avoid abrasive tools to maintain the shine.

Polishing a concrete floor isn’t as expensive as it sounds—it’s actually one of the more budget-friendly upscale flooring options out there. On average, it costs $4,500, with most projects falling between $1,000 and $8,000 . When you’re working with an existing slab of concrete, you skip material costs entirely, so it’s even more affordable. If you want a glossy, durable floor without paying hardwood or tile prices, polished concrete delivers serious shine without the sticker shock.

Baking soda is an excellent choice for a natural dog urine neutralizer. You can sprinkle it on a stain, leave it overnight, and then vacuum it in the morning to help rid your hardwoods of the dog urine smell. Hydrogen peroxide is another odor neutralizer, but be careful not to mix it with other household cleaners.
