"Our bid specified old roofing and paper would be removed down to the plywood. Home inspector later found rotten plywood on the roof; owner admitted they left existing paper on to give us "two coats of felt". They came back, ripped off new roofing from above the rot and replaced the rot at no charge. Trouble is they didn't bring enough shingles, and spaced them out to cover ... this did not look like a new roof. They came out again, and this time it looked like a new roof ... with torn up siding next to the repaired shingles. "Not my fault: siding's rotten ... I'll fix it. What else can I tell you" (You could have told us about the damage and your plans to correct it but we had to find it first.) Rather than bring them out for a fourth visit we paid a remodeler to replace the damaged siding. Jon tries, but I am not convinced his crew cares nearly enough."

"Luke was a gift! I moved from Colorado into a new home in Prattville, walked in the door and immediately realized I couldn’t live with the existing DIY paint job. "It was very good, they did a really good job even went back for updates about the project and I was really pleased. They were very professional, friendly, talk to you to find out exactly what you need and very organized. I couldn't ask for better and I was also impressed that they are insured. "Our home is 41 years old and we have wanted to cover our patio for years. We never could figure out how to do it because of the way the original roof line is configured. We contacted a contractor on Angie's list but he couldn't get to us for several months. We asked if he would recommend someone and he gave us Tony Mills' name and number. We consulted with Tony and he came out and took a look at our situation and we discussed different options. He then brought his framer by and together they designed a roof to cover the patio that upon completion looks like it is original to the house. There were several issues which had to be dealt with; not the least of which was a chimney which diverted water to the wrong place for our new cover. But that was taken care of by some more design work. They really did a great job. Next came the actual building of the cover. The workmen were nothing short of artists with a saw and nail gun and paintbrush and roller. No kidding! We love our new patio cover and could not be happier with Mills Family Properties. The next time we have a job that needs doing, we will definitely call Tony."
