"This company is great! Prompt, courteous, helpful. They were hired to replace the flooring in our entire house and were in and out in 3 ( three) days, cleaned up after themselves, moved and replaced all furniture. I can’t say enough about them!"

"Mr. Mann was alone for the unloading. Think he would be a great hire for small jobs- mostly boxes or a few pieces of furniture. As far as the logistics of loading a 20 ft Uhaul, there was a lot of shifting of my personal property during the drive from Hattiesburg to Biloxi. When I opened the back of the truck, a small but valued piece of furniture fell out of the back of the truck almost hitting me. Everything loaded from the storage unit fit in a 20 ft Uhaul with about 6 ft deep of extra space. Had a larger piece of furniture not fallen off of the truck ramp, Me. Mann would have had to re-configure some things in order to make everything fit. Due to circumstances beyond my control, a change in the unload date was necessary. I did pay Mr. Mann extra on the day of the loading for the extra time he needed to pack the truck. For the unloading, I helped Mr. Mann with the moving boxes from the ground into my apartment. It took just as long to unload as it do to load. A few small things got broken inside boxes that were marked “Fragile” or marked as “pictures and picture frames”. Mr. Mann is a very nice man but as I mentioned, this job was more than the manpower he had available. I think with time, and more experience, he will become more efficient at both estimating a moving job, and carrying it out with proficiency and professionalism."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

Dust mops are the best option for tackling dirt and dust on marble floors. Vacuums aren’t a good idea as the brushes and beater rolls can scratch and damage your marble floors. If you must use a vacuum, make sure your vacuum has a setting for hard floors, and take care not to apply too much pressure when rolling the vacuum across your marble floor.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.
