"Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job on trimming palm trees. They were very professional and easy to work with. I will hire them for the next time my trees need trimming. Also they removed all the branches and cleaned up deck and yard. Great experience with his company."

"Vance & Jesse were a pleasure to do business with. They are both very professional and did a great job. They took out @ 20 pines along with haul a way. Price was very reasonable. Plan on having a few more taken out in the future. Highly recommend them if you need any trees taken out."

"The team was great after reviewing different ideas and choosing the right brick took about 4 days. The longest was the supplier where Cornerstone got their material that too the longest which stretched the project out longer. I was so impressed with the way Owner Eric worked with me I hired him for some additional landscaping work and it’s turning out GREAT!"

"Project: Cut down trees. The work was done on time and on budget. Mr. Herman is a state licensed arborist. He kept me informed throughout. His crew was polite and professional. They did an excellent job of cutting and trimming about a dozen mature trees. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day and hauled everything away. Price was very reasonable."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

The average tree pruning should take one hour with the right equipment. Light pruning of a small tree may only take around 15 to 20 minutes. Pruning multiple large trees in your yard will probably take several hours, including cleanup. However, tree pruning pros can do this job much faster, so you can rely on pros if you’re short on time.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.

Grinding down a tree helps reduce the risk of foundation damage and pests and even helps your home’s curb appeal. Stumps can also be a safety hazard. If grass grows above the stump and someone else mows your yard, they may be in for a rude awakening when they accidentally hit it.

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.

Trimming your palm trees once or twice per year keeps them healthy and robust. Caring for palm trees includes cutting off brown leaves to prevent wildfires and pathway obstruction. However, you don’t want to over-trim the palm tree. Cutting too many branches off will weaken the tree and prevent future growth. And it’s essential to have a strong, healthy palm tree during hurricane season to prevent safety risks or property damage.
