Katie, from Global Central Air Services called me right away to schedule an appointment to give us a quote. She was awesome to work with and understood what I needed done and the time in which I needed the work done. She scheduled Mark Thomas, to inspect the scope of work, for the same afternoon. Mark was there at the appointed time and went way beyond in inspecting the HVAC systems and ducts. He is extremely knowledgeable and I felt I could trust his recommendations. I really wanted to hire them but after the mold specialist did his inspection, later that afternoon, we found we had a more serious problem that needs to addressed immediately. "What a terrible week! First the washing machine motor burned out then BOTH hot water heaters went out simultaneously. We thought it might be a problem with the gas connection.....but the gas company came out and inspected and said "no - gas is getting to the house - it's the units". Here it was, 1545 on a Friday afternoon, and I just KNEW we were out of luck trying to get a service call. Boy, was I WRONG! I called Conway and the VERY polite customer service rep listened to my explanation of what was wrong and asked if it was okay for a service man to be at my home within the hour. Wow! Jeff showed up exactly 55 minutes later and inspected the systems. Unfortunately, it was as bad as we thought, and the repair cost just wasn't going to be worth it (both systems were 17 years old and were on their very last legs of life). Jeff very patiently and competently walked us through the spectrum of options and answered all of our (some dumb, I am sure) questions.
