"The contract session was with Stephan Boyer. He was very through and informative. We knew exactly what we were getting and what to expect. Chris Renda and his crew showed up as promised. They showed up with all materials and immediately started work. The crew took no breaks and barely took time for lunch.. Chris Renda kept us infomed of everything going on.He found that our dormers had not been wrapped or waterproofed so he removed all the siding and began wrapping and waterproofing the dormers for us! The crew took 5 days of hard nonstop work installing our beautiful new patina green metal roof. We are completely satisfied! ! "
"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
"I had 25 LG solar panels installed by Sunpro this year and they did a fantastic job. The communication was great and the install crew was very professional. It's been awesome watching our electric bill go down!"
"The installation crew was very efficient and went to the extra effort to cover a couple of holes in the floor of the attic. They were very pleasant to work with. I will be calling them in the future."

"Greg came out and they would do during the installation such as puttint up dry wall so they have something to attach the door opener to. They used the dry wall that I had which was the way I wanted it. When Jim came out to install the garage door he called me when he was leaving Meridian and told me approximately when he would arrive. He was very punctual as was Greg. Jim installed the door just as was discussed. It took him most of the day as this was an odd size door. Jim was very plesant and knowledgable about the products and told me what he was doing and why he was doing things the way he was doing them. I have a tendency to ask a lot of questions about what is going on and he answered every question I had. When he was finished he explained the operation of the door and how to program the outside key lock as well, He told me if I had a questions in the future do not hesitate to call. Jim was very thorough about making sure he picked up any mess he has made. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. In fact I am going to talk to them about the insullation in my home late on.
"Roger Moore is a professional business person who did an excellent job on replacing the roof to our house and his price was reasonable and fair. He drove over 50 miles to do the job. His employees are excellent workers and did a great job. He had suggestions as to color and installing a ridge vent which improved both the look and functionality of the house. We very highly recommend him."
They meet local code demands for escape routes, lighten basements, and aid in reducing overall humidity.
Yes, egress windows can significantly add value to a home. By making basement and attic areas safer and more livable, they allow you to market these spaces as finished living areas, which increases your property's value. Many homeowners can recover the full installation cost, with some sources citing a return on investment of around 70%. The exact value added depends on your specific home, location, and adherence to local building codes. Beyond financial value, egress windows enhance functionality by adding natural light and comfort. They are also a crucial safety feature, often mandated by building codes to serve as an emergency exit.
If improperly installed, an egress window can compromise your foundation’s structural integrity, so it’s important to work with a pro to ensure your foundation remains in good shape. Any money you may save on a DIY egress window installation may cost you in the long run if your foundation is damaged in the process.
Most professionals can install a window well in two to three days, depending on the size of the well and the window you want inside it. If you’re just replacing an existing window well, the work is much less intensive, and most experts can get the job done in just one day. Connecting the window well to a drainage system or installing a custom concrete window well will naturally take longer, but even the most complicated installations shouldn’t take more than three days.
Adding windows to a house is expensive. Budget roughly $5,800 to add a single window, and double or triple that to add two or three. In some cases, adding a single window can exceed $20,000, depending on the type of exterior wall, the size of the window, the type of window, local permit costs, and other factors.
