Refinishing a bathtub takes about two to four hours, but let the surface set for another 24 to 48 hours before using it again. Once it's set, your tub should last for 10 years or more. When it comes to cleaning bathrooms, bleach usually comes to mind. But like ammonia, bleach can damage acrylic tubs. We don’t recommend using a tub liner to cover up cracks in a bathtub. Instead, you should repair the cracks yourself if you have the experience or hire a pro. Cracks may seem like small surface imperfections, but they can lead to much larger issues, so repair them as soon as you can.

If your Corian® countertop begins to appear dull or dirty, or you notice scratches on the surface, you can return it to its original finish while maintaining its look. To do this, repair any scratches with a repair compound and sand the surface after it dries.

Yes, you can use Epsom salt in a refinished bathtub. The salt will not harm the new glaze finish chemically, although it may rough up the surface finish a bit. Consult a professional bathtub refinisher prior to using Epsom salt on your bathtub to ensure it won’t damage its finish.
