"Pete saved us from a TERRIBLE situation. My family bought a house in Oxford and when we arrived after a 12 hour drive, we found the former owners had left a hoarder-level mess at the property. Our moving trucks were scheduled to arrive that afternoon and we had to get all of their old stuff out of there asap. Pete dropped off a large trailer so we could load it up and came to pick it up at the end of the day. We have had Pete drop his trailer off a few times since, especially after discovering dark corners of the attic packed with junk. I also plan to use Pete to help pick up landscaping materials in the future."

"Dropping off our things and settling up at our storage unit right now. Looking good! These guys have been great. Really diligent packing. Our things were packed so well it looked like we just brand new furniture. Definitely could not have done better ourselves. We pre-packed a good bit with Home Depot boxes but the did the heavy lifting and fragile packing with kitchen essentials. Then we transported all our two bedroom apartment stuff up to a storage unit all in a days work!"

Contact your local municipality to request garbage collection services. In most areas, your local city or municipality manages garbage collection, which contracts a waste collection company to do trash collection and other garbage collection and disposal services. However, if you can’t wait for the next trash collection day, you can also contact a local junk removal service to come and haul away your garbage. Confirm with any junk removal companies what items they will take. If you’re renovating your home or have a lot of garbage to get rid of, consider renting a dumpster.
The cost of junk removal services for private garbage collection factors in wages for labor, the cost of maintaining and operating vehicles and trailers to haul garbage to a dump or recycling center. Landfills also charge a fee to dump garbage, which varies depending on what kind of waste it is.
A garbage collection pro or junk removal company can typically take anything from a single item such as refrigerator to the entire contents of a house or out-building being emptied. One exception is disposing of hazardous waste (like bleach or used oil), which is typically handled by your municipality. Check reviews, references, and qualifications of any company you hire to collect garbage. Ask what the company’s limitations are, what tools and equipment they use, and their availability.
Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.
