"They repainted my whole house and ceilings, replaced the floors, replaced Sheetrock. Basically redid the whole inside of my house. It was done very professionally and timely and I’m very pleased. They kept a neat work area throughout the entire job. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing any renovations."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

Sandblasting refers to the process of cleaning a surface using compressed air and aggregate. Soda blasting is the gentlest type of this method, but it differs from sandblasting that uses mineral or other aggregate, since sodium bicarbonate breaks apart more easily than other forms of blast media and, therefore, cannot be reused.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.
