"Top level service from our initial phone call to the install and clean up. Office staff was helpful and pleasant. We got us an appointment right away. Rich called with an arrival time, was prompt and professional. He was super knowledgeable about the faucet we had purchased for him to install. He made sure to educate me on the manufacturers warranty as well as all the features of the faucet. Rich cleaned up and removed all waste from the job. We would highly recommend Rich and Precise Plumbing."

"The plumber came & assessed the problem area & told how he would do it & told me a price! It was reasonable so I accepted & he went to Lowe’s to get materials then came back & fixed it all in good time! Then since he’s an electrician he fixed my tankless water tank! I’m very pleased with both jobs! Yes I recommend him for everyone!!"

"Came quickly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will hire them anytime. I had purchased a walk in tub, and the installer had told me that my demand hwh would not support it. Jason quickly made the adjustment that the installer should have known. We immediately hired them for two more jobs which they did the next day."

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

A sump pump can be plugged into a regular, 110-volt outlet with three-prong openings, but it must have GFCI protections per the NEC, meaning you’ll need a GFCI outlet and circuit. Sump pumps require two outlet openings, one for the plug to the motor and one for the float switch.

Start by calling a plumber if you want to install a sump pump battery backup. Talk to them about your situation and needs. Sometimes, electricians or waterproofing contractors will install a battery backup, and in that case, the plumber you call should be able to point you in the right direction.

To test for toilet leaks, use water coloring in the water tank and see if the water slips into the bowl from the tank. This test will indicate if there’s a problem with the flapper or refill tube. You can also put water coloring in the bowl of the toilet to see if there is a leak there. If there is, you should see the colored water on the outside of the toilet bowl or on the floor.

There are several indicators that your washing machine’s drain pump is bad, including incomplete cycles, water not draining, lack of spinning, a foul odor when the machine is running, and a loud grinding or buzzing noise when the pump is trying to move water down the drain.

Sump pumps remove excess water from the lowest point of your home, which prevents flooding. When a sump pit fills with water, a sump pump pushes that water outside of the basin and into an exterior discharge pipe. From there, the water flows away from your home, so it doesn’t damage your foundation.
