We offer licensed, bonded and insured plumbing and gas installer/repair services with 20+ years experience in every phase of construction. We know how a home/building/structure is woven together. Work can be done by the job, by the hour, by the opening(new construction) or time plus material basis. Payment can be cash, check (with bank approval) or credit card with proper notice before work is started. I will be glad to offer sub-contracting for qualified contractors. My partner and I are the only two people that you will see working on your gutters unless we need help hanging a longer than normal gutter. We fill that we as the owners will do a better job than anybody we could hire because we own the company. I'm sorry but we only accept cash or check. We can meet with insurance adjusters if needed. Thanks

A backwater valve’s purpose is to let the water flow in one direction. It works like a little door that allows water to flow freely in one direction but stops it from flowing the opposite way. A backflow preventer is meant to prevent water from leaving your system, locking out wastewater in the process. Backflow preventers are commonly used by city sewer systems to stop residential wastewater from entering the water supply.

Toilet paper is the only material that you should flush down toilets. Other items like wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, and medications should be disposed of in the trash. Flushing these items can lead to plumbing issues and damage to sewage systems. Grease and cooking oils should also be avoided as they can solidify in pipes, causing blockages. Proper disposal helps prevent clogs and ensures the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems while protecting the environment.

No, a bigger pressure tank has no effect on water pressure. To increase water pressure in your well water, gently adjust the tank’s pressure settings to a higher psi (pounds per square inch). If you’ve already done this, you can swap out your current pump for one with a higher flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM). You can also call a pro to install a water pressure booster pump in your home plumbing system. If you experience fluctuations in water pressure, replace your current tank and pump with a constant pressure system.

You might be able to find your pipe leak by doing a visual inspection around your appliances and under your sink. Don’t forget to check your water heater too. If you find moisture or puddles of water, then you know you’re on the right track—you may need a repair or water heater replacement.

Knowing how to find a water leak can be tricky, but you can try the paper towel method. Lay paper towels on the floor and see where the moisture lands. You can also wrap toilet paper around pipes to locate a small leak.

You can buy a sealant spray for a leaking copper pipe, but it’s not a permanent solution and isn’t usually a good idea. For the best adhesion, you should drain the pipe, let it dry completely, apply the spray, and wait for it to dry before turning the water back on. Even with proper technique, a sealant spray is a temporary fix, so you should only use this technique in the interim to prevent water damage if you’re waiting for a more permanent fix.
