"Taylor Luebbering had the job done in one day. He leveled the ground next to our home and down to the edge of our driveway. Mr. Luebbering then had 2 loads of white rock delivered which he then smoothed out as this is fir our travel trailer. Mr. Luebbering also put rock if front of our home and rerocked our driveway. I would DEFINITELY recommend Luebbering Construction to anyone who wants yard work done as he is most reasonable with his price and very prompt in getting the job done to the customers satisfaction!!! I would give Luebbering Construction 10 Stars!!!"

My yard has never looked better—clean edges, perfectly cut grass, and everything left spotless when they were done. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and clearly take pride in what they do. It’s hard to find a company that consistently delivers this level of quality and care. If you’re looking for dependable, high-quality lawn service, I highly recommend Superior One, LLC. Hello, I’m a local guy born and raised right here in Columbia. I’m available to do all kind of residential ground work from reshaping your property for proper drainage to clearing trees and overgrowth for better views. I focus on selective growth management in which I remove all scrubby trees and undergrowth to maximize the life of the wanted trees. I also clear large amounts of land. I install drainage systems for gutter and footings to get the water away from your house.

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Palm trees are relatively easy to grow, especially when planting different varieties in their native habitats. While regular watering is crucial in the first couple of months while the palm develops a strong root ball, palms typically require minimal maintenance once they’re established. You’ll need to prune palm fronds once or twice per year to keep it in tip-top shape.

If you’re hiring a landscaper to plant the garden of your dreams, you do not need to provide them with plants that you bought yourself from a nursery. While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.

Lakefront landscaping offers benefits such as enhancing aesthetic appeal, increasing property value, supporting ecological balance, and providing recreational opportunities while preserving the shoreline's natural beauty.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting.

On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.

Yes, if you are using rocks to form a pathway or driveway, it’s a good idea to first install landscape fabric before layering in your rocks. Landscape fabric is your first line of defense against unwanted grass and weeds on your rocky surface.
