"In March----I selected Lockwood based on Angie's List ratings.  Ken Lockwood came out to give estimate.  He is very nice and very professional.  He examined what needed to be done in detail so he could give an accurate bid.  He let me know when he could do the work and then provided an exact schedule later.  His team stripped wallpaper in dining room and master bedroom and painted.  They did an excellent job.  We also asked them to do some touch up work on some baseboard and molding in a few rooms.  This was in the bid.  This part of the job was not as well done as the rest.  When I called this to his attention Ken had a couple people out to fix it and they did a good job then.
In May---we decided to get the wallpaper below the chair rail removed and painted along with the hall bath where it too
required wallpaper removal and painting.  We also had a front door entrance gel stained and clear coated outside only.  They did excellent job but did have to ask them to come back out and fix a little bit of paint cracking around the bathroom wall fixture. Also the bathroom mirror needed to be put back up. When they came back I asked if they put 2 coats of clear coat on the front door.  Rob said he would put another coat on just to be sure.  He also did a little more staining on it.  It really looks good.  All their work was excellent by time I paid.  I would have rated an A instead of B on quality but for fact I did have to ask them to come back out on a few small items.  To their credit they did so quickly and did and were nice to deal with.  I would use them again.  I have referred Lockwood to a friend who used him and they too were very pleased with their work.

"I own a condominium that had been absolutely trashed by the former tenants. It has been incredibly discouraging (not to mention costly) to get everything fixed and spruced up. Larry, his son, and John were very helpful. They arrived on time and got right to work. They painted the place from top to bottom (literally - including the basement, which had hideous 1970's era brown wood paneling). They also helped with some important drywall repairs and removed stubborn wallpaper from one bathroom. How they got that bathroom to look so good afterward is a mystery to me but you would never know there had been wallpaper there before. The walls are absolutely smooth - no bumps, no rough patches. Gorgeous.  The basement was absolutely transformed by the new bright paint and it will really be a usable rec room now.
Larry and his crew worked incredibly fast and were neat and professional. Before they helped me I hated to go over to the condo to work on repairs because it was so discouraging. Now thanks to the impeccable paint job I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
 I will definitely hire Larry again to help with painting my own house. It was a pleasure to work with him. Do note that he is busy, so you may have to wait a bit to get on his calendar, but I would guess that is because he is much in demand. It is worth the wait.

"Chad painted our 30 year-old+ Morton building and it looks fabulous. The paint had faded and the building was looking pretty tired. Chad power-washed and then repainted using paint that will last for many years. I really appreciated the quality work. The lines between the two colors we chose were tight. Additionally, Chad overcommunicated to ensure we had current status without question--especially given this was such a large job. For example, it was raining one of the days he was scheduled to paint. He called anyway to make sure we knew he would not be there and provide an update on status. "Al and his partner were setup and working within 10 minutes of getting to our house. What I appreciate about Al is that he notices little things that need to be done and just does them (recaulking the bathtub when he was working in the bathroom, using left over concrete patch from the foundation to fill in a spot in the driveway that was broken) - simple stuff that adds little or nothing to the bill but tells me he's paying attention and that he cares. I have had Al work on several projects now, and to be honest, I don't even bother calling anyone else.

"Our kitchen was ugly and barely working.   We went to Angie's List and hired Good Neighbors, LLC for a previous job and we hired them again and they gave us an outstanding kitchen remodel.
Good Neighbors had previously done a master bath remodel for us in 2012, which we love!  So when it came time to update and remodel our outdated 30 year old kitchen, we again hired Good Neighbors to do the kitchen remodel.  
They gave us a price, they gave us a finish date and they finished within budget and they finished on time.  Impressive!
Our kitchen was a complete demolish from the ceiling to the floor.  We installed new cabinets, new appliances, new lights, granite counter tops and updated the electrical service and the plumbing.   We did a lot. 
Our kitchen, as with many older home remodels came with several surprises once the work started.   However, Good Neighbors was able to handle the required fixes flawlessly and perfectly.  Most importantly, we are thrilled with the end result.  Even the building insectors complimented their work.
One point worth mentioning, which we really appreciated, was the fact that the Good Neighbors personnel, Tom, Chris and Caleb showed up on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up every night.  They never let us down, never left us hanging nor left us a mess to clean up.
The finished kitchen is even better than we had imangined.   Good Neighbors is worth of a glowing recommendation from us and we recommend them for any interior remodel and proudly give them an A."
