"I had a tv and a mantel mounted on uneven stone. Pros: Scheduled appointment quickly, arrived in a timely fashion, did quality work, and cleaned up afterwards. Also appreciated how they seemed to care about how the setup looked - taking great care to hang it at the right height and to hide all the cords. Cons: Spoke poorly about another customer in a racially charged way and accidentally stained my chair (they did say they’d pay the cleaning bill). Also, when there was a point in the process where I thought that the tv was going to be a bit too high, I didn’t appreciate the initial ‘well, I showed you the mantel placement first’ response - basically like ‘your fault, oh well.’ I understand that it would’ve been frustrating and a lot of work to redo everything, and that it was ‘my fault,’ but it’d also be frustrating to pay for a service and be unhappy with the outcome and it’s hard to gauge a tv height with just a mantel on the wall. The second guy’s response was much more accommodating and we wound up leaving everything as it was, but that initial reply was a bit off putting."

"Hired Scott for a couple hours to complete a punch list of computer services, one of which was to recover data from a dead hard drive. He helped review some WiFi settings to better streamline access to a single printer by all our devices and walked me through a signal check on each level of our house to ensure we were setup efficiently for streaming and game playing by everyone in the household. Lastly, he helped configure a few items on our new laptop that we wanted, but didn't know how to do. All-in-all, he was professional and delivered results in a short, efficiently managed timeline. We will hire him again, should the technical need arise."

"The owner of Electronics 9-1-1 installed an eight-camera home security system in my home. The entire experience, from initial consultation to finished product, was the model on which all other advertisers' services on Homeadvisor should be based! The company owner's recommendations about installation techniques, technical knowledge and considerations, equipment capabilities, scheduling accommodations, and modifications in mid-installation to overcome unforeseen issues were all spot-on, and resulted in a system that exceeded every expectation. Would use Electronics 9-1-1 again in a heartbeat, and it is a pleasure to recommend them to anyone needing security system installation or service of the highest quality."

"This company is absolutely fantastic! Tony is so professional and a really great guy. He bid me a price for some work that turned out to be much more complicated than originally thought. He did not try and increase his price and did the work for the pre-determined rate. In addition, I had a tv he was supposed to hang that was brand new in the box. When he opened it, he discovered the screen was shattered. I was able to return the tv and he is coming back out on a separate trip to hang it. He has really gone above and beyond. I cannot recommend him more highly."

If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
TV antennas should be replaced if it’s been bent or physically damaged. It is possible that these can still be repaired. However, the repair won’t be as superior as a repair on a non-damaged antenna. Since repairing an antenna is typically less expensive than replacing it by at least $100, it’s worth trying to save your existing one if possible.
Before investing in a TV antenna repair, there are a few steps you can take to help boost your signal quality. Removing obstacles like tree branches can help improve your signal strength. Along the same line, moving an indoor antenna away from obstacles can also help. These should be near a window, as high as possible. If these steps don’t work, speak with a TV antenna technician about a signal amplifier to help boost your signal even further.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
