"I had a fantastic experience with Concept Renovations and their team. From start to finish, they demonstrated a high level of professionalism and skill. Bill and his team consistently delivered outstanding workmanship, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Throughout the project, they impressed me with their attention to detail and commitment to excellence. What I truly appreciated was their ability to offer cost-effective suggestions along the way, without compromising the final results. These suggestions turned out to be brilliant and worked seamlessly with the overall design. I wholeheartedly recommend Concept Renovations to anyone looking for a professional and reliable home remodeling company. Their team's dedication to providing top-notch service and delivering exceptional results is truly commendable. Been in the handyman field for a while with some experience in deck building, siding, trim(interior and exterior), backsplash and tile work as well. Ive done some plumbing and garage door services and now for full time I build high end metal building! Quality and ingenuity is always in mind so you or the next customer loves their long term project!

Tiles in place and ready for grout. Adjustable fixtures were put in to maintain proper spacing with the new thicker backsplash

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

If you don’t have a power saw with a blade where you can adjust the angle, you could use a miter box and hand saw to make the cuts. The miter box contains wide slots to support the piece of baseboard and other narrow slots to accommodate the blade of the hand saw. However, it’s tough to make non-standard cuts beyond 30 or 45 degrees when using a miter box.

Baseboards don’t have to be nailed into studs. However, nailing them into studs adds to their stability. When studs aren’t available, you can secure them with drywall nails directly into the drywall and adhesive. Always aim to nail into studs, especially in high-traffic or impact-prone areas.

Yes, carpenters can fix squeaky floors. They have the expertise to identify the source of the squeak, whether it’s loose floorboards, subfloor issues, or joist problems. These experts also have the right tools and hands-on knowledge to secure the flooring and eliminate the noise, ensuring a long-lasting solution.

Most landscape timbers are 8 feet long, but some are also available in 10-foot and 12-foot lengths. Choose the length that will allow you to install landscape timbers using the least amount of cutting to fit. Shorter timbers will allow you to more easily create angles and shorter plant bed sides.

Yes, many repair services include blade sharpening as part of the maintenance package.
