Grace Hauling Inc is a locally owned business since 1998. We started with one employee in 1998 and now have 25. We strive to provide affordable, reliable and friendly service to our customers.

"We are all quick to complain but never praise. I am lucky enough to see things from both perspectives. I know how tough the job is when you're scolded about service and I see how hard everyone from staff to drivers work. Pricing is very competitive and the company tries to do everything they can to give good service. Keep up the good work."

"Robert came out the same day our plumber called him (on a Sunday afternoon). He checked all around the area to find exactly where there was dampness, then lifted the carpet and cut out the wet pad. He set up fans and dehumidifiers and sprayed to stop mold from growing in the dampness. He was prompt and professional, and we appreciated his willingness to come out at a moment's notice. He explained his procedures thoroughly. We highly recommend Midwest Flood Restoration and Robert!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Junk haulers remove items that residential trash removal won’t take. Bulky items, like furniture, tires, and oversized yard waste, are common things they can remove from your home. Other items include chemical waste, electronics, and construction equipment. If you have a question about what your local junk removal service will remove, you should call them ahead of time to check on the best disposal options.

Alternatives to a dumpster include junk removal services and dumpster bags. These are good options if you have limited space and can’t fit a dumpster on your property or if a dumpster isn’t available. You can also take smaller loads of waste to a disposal facility yourself if you have a vehicle that can fit your items.

There are a few ways you can save money on concrete disposal, including hiring a company that specializes in the service. While you’ll pay for the labor, professional removal companies can save you money on dumping fees if they can recycle or sell the old concrete. If possible, you can also do your own concrete demolition, which can cut down on labor costs. Paying for haul-away service only, you could save between $1.50 and $5.50 per square foot of concrete instead of paying for demolition and removal.

There are a number of factors that make an item difficult to recycle, but it often comes down to mixed materials. Any item you can’t leave on your curb for recycling pickup is likely considered an item difficult to recycle. Common examples of items considered difficult and require special handling or other recycling arrangements are tires, appliances using freon, batteries, and compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs).

When scrap tires are properly recycled, they are often shredded into small pieces. This way, the materials within can be separated and used to manufacture various new products. This includes fuel, playground surfaces, sports fields, rubberized asphalt, mats, flooring, and filler for new tires. Some tires still end up in landfills, but this practice is becoming less common.
