"Very nice young man, kept me well informed. He did a tiled shower stall for me. Ran into a problem with water line and drain replacement, he contacted two plumbers for me for I knew no one here. Kept the work area clean, after each day they were here. I cannot say enough good things about this young man ! Please give him a call for estimates and hopefully a job! "I could not be happier with the final product! The first pic is the old bathroom from the 60s when the house was built. The rest are the final rebuild and it looks great. I would highly recommend VMK Remodeling for any project that you might have. I am also going to get a bid on redoing the deck on the back of the house as Vince's company does decks as well! "Email communication was hit-or-miss.  Sometimes I would get an immediate response, other times weeks went by and I didn't get a response until I prompted them for an update.  The installer was polite and professional but several of the trim pieces were damaged on installation and the fit and finish is not great.  It took over a month to get the damaged parts replaced and one of the replacement parts is also damaged in the same location as the first piece.  It's not noticeable enough that it's worth taking another day off work to have it replaced again, though.  The caulk lines are not very even, the drain is not centered in the floor of the shower, and the trim piece around the shower handle is off-center as well.  I will admit that I can be fussy about these sorts of things and these may not be issues for other people but it's bothersome enough to me that I wouldn't use Re-Bath again.

"We hired Carey at Tile Works to lay stone on our front porch pillars. He did excellent job. The work took longer and was more complicated than initially anticipated so we mutually agreed on an adjusted rate, no complaints there. Carey is respectful and hard-working. Some days he would stay til late to work as he committed to finishing the work. In the end, it was well done and even though it took a bit longer than initially anticipated, he finished it, cleaned everything up. All in all, the price was very reasonable. I would hire him again."
