"Was going to buy a fence and install it myself but decided to just let a pro do it. A week latter and the customer service is still top notch. Only complaint was I think the fence was originally set a little high but that was an easy change. If your looking for a dog fence I highly recommend Dog Guard."

"He contacted me very promptly and came to look at the project. He explained to me what the problem was and stated he did not have the proper special equipment to make the repair. He recommended a company that he felt sure would be able to do the work."

"We have had numerous issues with the company from the beginning. The installers were late, the trainer was late, the replacement battery was late. We also had an issue where the dog collar was covered in a rust-looking substance that was harming our dogs neck. Owners were hard to get ahold of at times when necessary as well. They did rectify all of the issues however, but it doesn't excuse the poor initial quality and customer service."

"The owner is very responsive, communicates well, and very pleasant to deal with. We were given a bid and they stuck to it. The bed was very competitive with other bids we received. The work was done when expected and finished on time. We have used this company for fencing projects twice, and will be using them again. Good feedback from the neighbors who interacted with them while they were on the job as well."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Lees Summit, attics often attract bats and squirrels, especially in neighborhoods near wooded areas or lakes. Rooflines, eaves, and chimneys are common entry points for raccoons and birds, while crawl spaces and foundations may harbor skunks or snakes. Garages and sheds can also become wildlife hiding spots. Regular wildlife removal inspections, especially after storms or during seasonal changes, help catch issues early and protect your home from damage.

Helpful?

When comparing wildlife removal quotes in Lees Summit, be cautious of unusually low or high estimates, requests for full payment upfront, or vague, unwritten contracts. Watch for professionals who skip thorough inspections, use inhumane animal control methods, or promise illegal animal relocation. Lack of insurance, unwillingness to explain local wildlife laws, or absence of local references are also warning signs. Always expect clear communication and detailed service plans.

Helpful?

In Lees Summit, immediate animal removal is necessary if you discover health hazards like bat colonies, dead animals, or aggressive wildlife inside your home. Address structural damage or animals found in living areas right away. If you only notice minor entry points or occasional outdoor sightings, monitor the situation and plan preventive animal control. Consider seasonal urgency—spring and fall often require faster action due to increased nesting and sheltering activity.

Helpful?

In Lees Summit, homeowners should consider the city’s humid climate, which can increase wildlife activity, especially near lakes and wooded parks. Suburban growth often leads to more encounters with raccoons, bats, and snakes. Be aware of local regulations protecting certain species and migratory birds. Seasonal changes and proximity to water can influence animal behavior, so plan wildlife removal projects accordingly and consult a certified animal control professional for guidance.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Lees Summit should prioritize inspecting attics and roofs for signs of bats or squirrels, checking crawl spaces and foundations for skunks or snakes, and ensuring vents and chimneys are properly screened. Trim back tree branches that touch the house and secure outdoor trash bins. Scheduling a professional wildlife removal assessment early can help identify hidden entry points and prevent future infestations, especially before peak breeding or sheltering seasons.
