"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"Etek contacted me in a timely manner, gave me an estimate and walked me thru the process. When another company finally contacted me with a lower bid Etek worked with me on the price. Then when they had a cancellation they contacted me and we were able to get the work done several weeks sooner than scheduled. The floor came out beautifully and they returned a few days after Josh inspected it and smoothed a few rough spots. I'm glad I stuck with this company."

"Antoine is the consummate professional. He meets with you at your home to learn what needs to be done and to see, first hand, the work to be completed. He tells you very directly if he can help and gives you an estimate of the cost for him to work on your “to-do list.” He comes on the date he says he will, and he arrives on time. Antoine works quickly, but carefully; he does an excellent job and can address many problem situations. If there is a risk of something not turning out perfectly, he is very clear about the situation. And, he involves you in all decision-making about available options. Antoine has a cheerful, up-beat personality. We have found that Antoine is completely trustworthy and reliable. Having Antoine doing the work was like having a family member there with you. I couldn’t recommend Antoine more highly. His work is excellent and he has a wonderful work ethic that has almost disappeared from our society. Antoine also goes the extra mile to help you out. Antoine is a perfectionist and a workaholic – what more could you ask for? Anyone would be fortunate to not only have Antoine do work for them, but also to have him as a friend."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

In order to avoid long-lasting waves, indents, or sticking, it’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after fresh carpet is laid to put weighty furniture on top of it. However, you can begin walking on your new carpet right after it’s installed, and doing so can actually help it adhere to the floor better.

Your room doesn’t need to be completely empty to restretch a carpet, but you’ll need enough space that you can move around furniture to access the wrinkled areas and the wall where you’re reattaching the carpet. A contractor will move your furniture out of the way before they start the job, but you can save money by moving your furniture before they arrive.

Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

Outdoor kitchens get wet and are sometimes next to pools. To avoid accidents, go with a non-slip material like concrete, brick, or rubber. Avoid materials like ceramic and porcelain, as they are known to be quite slippery. Wood and composite flooring can be slippery if untreated, so make sure to stain or finish these materials.
