"We updated old thermofoil cabinets with a shaker style thermofoil doors, crown molding and a new backsplash. Rick and his installer take great care and pride in their work. We did not want to go through a major renovation and liked our existing Silestone countertops. Rick made it look like a new kitchen without the strain of a major renovation."

No, in most cases, you do not have to remove your countertops to reface cabinets. Since refacing primarily involves updating the doors, drawer fronts, and exterior surfaces, your existing countertops can usually stay right where they are, making the process quicker and less disruptive.
