"We could not have picked a worse day to move!!! It was raining/freezing rain and snow all mixed into a dreary friday the 13th!!
AAMC was there on time in this horrid weather to move us without any hesitation whatsoever. They were very pleasant to deal with, they went above and beyond what we expected them to do and that was a pleasant surprise!!! While they did fall a little short on moving pads to cover up our furniture with they improvised with blankets we provided to them and NOT ONE THING was damaged!!! Great job guys! We would definitely recommend them to anybody.

"They showed up and did the take down of the sheetrock and walls, framed in for the new walls and replaced the sheetrock on the ceiling and "part" of the new walls.  They did run into some snags with the electrical and the team were great at trying to make everything work.  They did have to take down some additional sheetrock on another ceiling to try to find the root of an electrical problem and I had to have the company that installed my A/C come and do a little work.  After that they did not show up to finish the work that I was supposed to have done.  They were to come the next day to remove the trash and start with the finishing, after a week my son came and helped me to take the debris to the dump, my husband and I had to hang the sheetrock on the wall where the thermostat is installed and I have contracted with another company to do the mudding, taping and finishing on the ceilings and walls.  I have tried several times to call and left messages but have heard nothing back in over three weeks.  I have to say that the team that came to my house were the nicest guys and tried very hard to do all the work and were very good at keeping everything cleaned up, I just wish that someone had come back and finished what they started.

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Professionals use various tools and cleaning solutions based on the type of floor they’re cleaning. They often use industrial steam cleaners to pull debris out of the carpet. For localized stains, they may use a commercial cleaner or a mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap. For tile, they’ll typically use dish soap and hot water, plus a mixture of baking soda and hot water for the grout. For cleaning wood floors, they might use a low-heat steamer, a mop with an oil wood floor cleaner, or a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and lemon juice.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Regular sealing, proper drainage, and periodic inspections prevent premature wear and cracking.

You should strip and wax hardwood floors every six months to two years. The actual length of time between stripping and waxing depends on the wear and tear that the floors see. Stripping and waxing floors can help repair hardwood floor damage and give the room a fresh look.

Clean your vinyl plank floors at least one to two times per week with a broom, vacuum, or microfiber mop. You can save the mopping and disinfecting for your deeper cleans about two to three times a month. Keep in mind that if you find sticky spots, spills, or stains, it's best to take care of them ASAP.
