"John was very professional and efficient. He was able to get to us fairly quickly. He explained what he needed to do and approximately how long it would take. He also came back a few weeks later and cleaned and sanitized the area, which was helpful to my husband and I."

"It went very well. We are very pleased to have things calm down in our yard after the moles and raccoons were removed. It is a huge improvement. There were three large traps placed in areas where the raccoons had been active. We were instructed to check the traps at 8 am and to call if there were any animals trapped. The raccoons caught ate a good meal and then waited with no damage to them for a few hours until Critter Control came to pick them up and take them miles away to the countryside where they can now live well. The traps were in place for 3 days and nights total and trapped 2 possums and 2 raccoons. We were pleased."

"Ben and his crew were very knowledgeable. He was able to squeeze in my neighbors house while he was here! we are super close and shared the same bird vent issue. His crew was fast on time, did not leave a mess. My bathroom vent was clean and working efficiently after the nest removal was complete. Ben also put up a prevention screen to help for the future. Super friendly guy, I would definitely recommend him, well I guess I already did!"

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Groundhogs usually keep their cool despite being easily spooked. However, there are exceptions—they might get defensive or territorial if they feel threatened or overly concerned. If they sense a threat to their babies, they could get feisty, too. These wild animals are not meant to be kept as pets. If you find babies or an injured groundhog, contact your local animal rescue or wildlife service for guidance.

Yes, in some cases if your damper is left open, animals can come down your chimney. In these instances, it’s more likely that they have fallen in while looking for a safe spot rather than entered your house intentionally. Leaving your damper closed or installing a chimney cap can prevent animals from coming inside.

Raccoons can spread viruses and bacteria to humans and pets, including rabies, canine and feline distemper, parvovirus, Salmonella, and leptospirosis. These can all cause a range of illnesses.

Snakes love yards where they can access pet food, insects, and rodents. They also like places with plenty of hiding spots, such as tall grasses, thick or overgrown shrubbery, pools of water, broken gutters, and boxes. Reducing clutter and debris on your property may help keep them from visiting.

Rabbits face a range of formidable adversaries in rural and suburban areas. Natural predators such as hawks, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, coyotes, and weasels pose significant threats to their survival. These skilled hunters target bunnies for food, contributing to regulating rabbit populations. Outdoor housepets can be enemies, too, particularly dogs and cats. And loud little humans playing in your yard make great rabbit deterrents, too.
