"C&L Service Company did a great job on the roof for our third car attached garage addition. I had scheduled them to align with the completion of the framing work to minimize water damage in case it rained. The framers finished early, and the weather forecast indicated rain for the next few days. C&L was able to squeeze me in a little earlier saving me from major water damage in an upstairs bedroom and the existing two car garage. They went the extra mile to make sure the new roofing section matched the existing 16 year old roof. They used quality materials that exceeded the quality of the materials from the original roofing company."

"We were impressed with Scott's (the owner of Horizontal Earthworks) professional attitude from the outset of this project. After contacting him, he made an appointment to meet us at our site and he arrived exactly on time. He listened to the plans for the project as we outlined them and within a few days submitted detailed plans along with the estimated cost. We decided to revise the original plan and he again visited the site and came up with details for the revised plan within a matter of a few days. Once we signed the contract, Scott had his crew here at the agreed upon time and began work. The entire project was completed within approximately 7 workdays and was done exactly according to plan. Scott's crew was efficient and respectful of our property--once they completed their work each day, they tidied up the worksite and left no materials or tools strewn around our property. Importantly, the lines of communication between Scott and ourselves was superb. He always let us know when tasks would be accomplished and if we had any questions, he answered promptly. We would not hesitate to hire Horizontal Earthworks for future projects and recommend the company without reservation."

Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. "Don't trust Century Roofing because they don't stand by their work, and they are not trustworthy. I've had Century Roofing replace my roof 6/2019. They gave me a quote to replace my roof and included in the contract was to replace a "RUSTED HVAC FURNACE FLASHING". I thought they would do a great job, so I paid them to replace the roof and all the pipes and flashing on the roof. I trusted them that this was done as per the contract. I didn't ask for pictures of all the pipes and work on top of the roof. In May of 2020, there was a big storm and we noticed that this HVAC heating stack had the top blown open. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the RUSTED FURNACE FLASHING and cap was NEVER replaced as listed on the contract. When I contacted them to replace it, they told me I had to have a HVAC specialist come out and replace the pipe, and they would not fix this RUSTED HVAC Flashing. They told me they would never replace anything that had to do with HVAC even though it was on the contract and clearly all heating stack flashing is replaced when a new roof is installed. I've never heard of any HVAC person going on the roof to replace anything. Century Roofing does not do what is listed on their contract and they do not stand by their work. Please be very careful when dealing with Century Roofing. I would not use them again and would not recommend them in the future."
