"What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. "The initial experience was positive. However, I was planning additional work where she recommended her son to perform. I called her son and he did not return my phone call. After speaking with her, he call the next day. Unfortunately he was not qualified to perform the work I desired, so I informed him to not stop by for  a pre-bid discussion. I believed it would have been a waste of his time, since I knew I wasn't going to use him. Within the next day she sent an email and indicated she "could no longer support by proposal as she had too many clients". I find this hard to believe since she never mentioned this at any point in our discussions. As a matter of fact she was quote excited about working on my project. I believe she was discouraged that I did not use her son. While I can not speak of her landscaping skills, I believe her move was unprofessional.

"In 2013 I was out of town on a trip. My wife called in a panic because water was coming in through a crack in the basement wall. We had lived in the house for 20 years with no issues. Recently we had new sidewalks poured which disrupted the water flow from the house. This caused water to seep back into the foundation. The Leaky Cellar came the next day and provided a fair estimate and repaired. When I returned home I was very pleased with the work, timeliness, and price they charged. A less reputable company could have taken advantage of the situation. Recently we had the annoying water seepage in our stone foundation. The Leaky Cellar proposed various options to address the situation. They recently installed interior drains. The men were very professional and answered all my questions. For a messy job, they left the basement in good shape. I was very pleased with the work, price, and professionalism. I would recommend them to a friend."
