The carpet was old looking and worn, however the floors were even worse underneath. There were missing planks, uneven soft spots, vinyl floor tile half taken off, it was a mess. Cid came to the job knowing the floors were horrible. I gave him full disclosure over the phone. I really anticipated him seeing the floors and walking away.
