"Midwest arrived on time and 2 men did the job. It took them about 4 hours to complete the task of removing the old tint, clean the window and area, then apply the new window tint. Of course our windows are larger than normal windows that you see in most houses. Our windows run (73" x 73"), they are considered custom windows, because they run so large. However Midwest did a superior job installing our window tint. They didn't leave any seams in the middle of our window tint. Which is great. Our tint carries a warranty, which we are very happy with. The men who did the installation, applied the window tint to 6 windows and they cleaned up all of they mess. They didn't leave any dirt behind for us to deal with and I was very happy to see that happen. Normally, when someone installs something in your home, any mess they make, they expect the homeowner to clean it up, but that isn't the case with Midwest. Their installers clean up after themselves. Personally, I appreciate it. We will use Midwest in the future and refer them to friends & family. We love the look of the windows with the new tint on them. They really make a big difference when the sun is shinning on them. They really cut down on the amount of UV rays and the extra heat which does not pass through amymore. The window tint helps with our cooling (air conditioning) bills. We know Midwest saved us money and gave us a great price on our new window tint. They did a terrific job and we are very happy with the windows. The installation was easy and we didn't have any problems.

"Robert was very responsive to our request for an estimate.  Once we compared estimates (we got three) and found Quality Glass to be competitive, the application was quick and clean - the process wasn't messy and they left the work area spotless.  They guarantee their work.
We noted an immediate decrease in heat during the summer in our south-facing wall of windows.
We did have one window which cracked a few months later. Though there was a two to three week delay in confirmation of the repairs, they were good to their word.   We were able to choose our own glass company, then Quality Glass reimbursed us. They covered the cost of new, comparable low-e window glass, minus a small and previously-agreed to deductible. Then they re-appied the tinting to the new window.

I was offered a lifetime servicing plan for the equipment at no cost to me or for replacement. The keypad is an awesome piece of equipment (which Larry installed and did an outstanding job with!) and once it was up, I was sort of sad that I didn't just leave it as a "desk top" option that Larry had mentioned so I could move it around the house with me. In hind sight if I had known more about the benefits of leaving it as a desk top option, I probably would have opted for it. But initially I thought it was a "short cut" to install, which it would not have been. By far the coolest thing about 1st Security's service is the fact that they use alarm.com, from which I can arm and disarm my system from my cell phone. No juggling at the door, sprinting to the keypad, etc. I also have a peace of mind that I have never really had with Front Point, Guardian or other security services since I can actually see my alarm activity online and on the app. The system also allows up to 239 individual passwords that you can assign to family members or others you hire to do work at your home. My only disappointment is with signage for the house. I want 2 security signs for my home (relatively higher crime area) but was given one and told he'd get the other one to me only after I offered to pay for it (which honestly, I should not have to do - the more signs in my yard, the better advertisement for your company). Also they "were out of" window clings/stickers, something I want immediately upon install. Larry said they were on order and he would get the stickers and extra sign to me as soon as they were in. I'll update you on that when I get them."
