Midwest Window Tinting did an excellent job. They arrived at the agreed time, they were respect of our house, they coached us on the tinting level, they had the job completed in 2.5 hours and cleaned up after themselves.

They were on time, performed the work and cleaned up as if they were never here. They were a little higher priced than another bid I got, but they seemed more knowledgeable and more professional.

We had used them before in our previous house and had great service then, so we were happy to hire them again. They are prompt, professional and do the cutting right on site to be able to get a perfect and exact fit. You choose the amount of sunlight/UV protection you wish for your needs. They provided ample instruction on care, future cleaning and service before they left and I received the manufacturer's product warranty via email a few days later (the Midwest folks handled that, so one more detail I didn't have to do!). When installed correctly, window tinting works wonders in saving energy and cutting A/C costs! I highly recommend them and their company is great. Their pricing is also very fair.

Responded quickly to my request for a bid and showed me all available options. Was very detailed and made a recommendation based on objective which was reducing the heat effect in my home due to intense sun exposure during the summer months. A few minor glitches promptly addressed and installation completed as scheduled with great results. Every member of the team was polite and professional and price included an Angie's List discount, you couldn't do better than these guys.

Midwest arrived on time and 2 men did the job. It took them about 4 hours to complete the task of removing the old tint, clean the window and area, then apply the new window tint. Of course our windows are larger than normal windows that you see in most houses. Our windows run (73" x 73"), they are considered custom windows, because they run so large. However Midwest did a superior job installing our window tint. They didn't leave any seams in the middle of our window tint. Which is great. Our tint carries a warranty, which we are very happy with. The men who did the installation, applied the window tint to 6 windows and they cleaned up all of they mess. They didn't leave any dirt behind for us to deal with and I was very happy to see that happen. Normally, when someone installs something in your home, any mess they make, they expect the homeowner to clean it up, but that isn't the case with Midwest. Their installers clean up after themselves. Personally, I appreciate it. We will use Midwest in the future and refer them to friends & family. We love the look of the windows with the new tint on them. They really make a big difference when the sun is shinning on them. They really cut down on the amount of UV rays and the extra heat which does not pass through amymore. The window tint helps with our cooling (air conditioning) bills. We know Midwest saved us money and gave us a great price on our new window tint. They did a terrific job and we are very happy with the windows. The installation was easy and we didn't have any problems.

What a wonderful experience.  I found Midwest Tinting right here on Angies list.  After the call the service man came out the following week on time and was very pleasant to deal with.  We had actually scheduled for the following Friday but the owner called and said that he had the availability to move us up one week.  What?  That's never heard of!  I was delighted. 
The two men doing the work at the office were friendly and courteous,  they were very clean and organized.  Wherever they worked they laid down cloth to make sure they weren't going to make a mess. 
After the work was done, one of the service men gave us a run down of what to do and what not to do with the newly tinted windows. 
I've got to tell you, the reviews are all correct!
Perfect communication.  The workers were right on time and plus they got me worked into the schedule 1 week early!

I have the windows in my front bedroom face west and I get a lot heat from the sun in that room so I had them come out and Midwest Window Tinting showed me the different types of film and I thought their price was reasonable so I had them install it. One of things they told me was if there was any problems with the window cracking that it was covered under warranty and sure enough over the winter one of the windows did crack and they said they had more of a problem with that with this winter than they have had in any past winters and it was because of the harshness of the winter we had but they came out promptly to evaluate it. It was completely covered under warranty and they ordered the window and the window is scheduled to be installed tomorrow. Different company is doing the installation they contract that out with a company that actually does windows and then I have to schedule to have them came back out and tint the new window but I felt they responded promptly to the warranty call. I did not feel like I got any sort of runaround. Some companies do not want to deal with things when they got to fix something and I did not feel any of that with them. We got the appointment scheduled. He said he would be calling the other company and then they came out and measured the window. So far that whole process has gone well and I am very happy with tint that is on the windows. It has really cut down on the amount of heat in this room. It makes it much more pleasant in here in the afternoons in the summertime. I have recommended them to other people.

I called for an estimate and they were quick to set up a date and time to come out and meet with me.  The general manager, Bob, came out and measured all of the windows, showed me all of the different products and left me with an estimate.  He was very courteous and did not apply any pressure to buy his products.  He followed up with me by phone and email.  The initial estimate was a little higher than I wanted to pay so he worked with me to get the price down to an amount that I was comfortable with.   They also offered a great and affordable warranty.  Once I agreed to an amount, a date and time frame was immediately set for the work to be performed.   I received a call on the morning of the install to let me know a more approximate time that they would arrive.  Two workers came to the house and installed the window tinting material.  They worked for approximately 4.5 hours straight and were friendly and courteous.  They even helped me out and changed some light bulbs and removed a toy that was stuck in the light in the living room which has 22 foot high ceilings!   It was a pleasure working with them and I would recommend them to others.

Bob came out to give me the estimate and to show me samples of the film.  I went with the Night Vision line of 3M films.  I like the warmer tones that you get from this product.  I decided on 2 different strengths of tint.  I selected teh darkest tint Night Vision 15 for my entryway.  The reflecting quality give me more privacy.  I used the Night Vision 25 on the bay window in the front bedroom.
The installer was prompt, courteous and very neat.  He applied the film to one window so I could take a look and see if I was happy with it.  He was very knowledgeable about the product ans thoroughly explained what he was doing and why.  He also made sure I understood how to care for the windows that have been treated. 
I was absolutely amazed at how the film has made a difference in the temperature and glare at the front of my house. 
The installer cleaned up after himself.   The job took just about the amount of time estimated. 

Bob Gorman came out to give me  quote. He was very professional and helpful. I had intended to go with a 70% tint (where 70% of light comes through) but Bob talked to me and told me most people feel like they could have gone darker after it is done. He left samples of the films so I could stand and look through them to envision the room tinted. We decided to go with the 50% Prestige product. I Love, Love, Love the final look ! The room is still very bright. The view is crips and clean. And actually ...I probably cold have gone even a little darker since there are so many windows in the room. So listen to Bob's advice...he understands how light or dark the room will be and has a very good idea after talking to you which product is right for you. I am very happy that we decided on the prestige product. It was a little more expensive but I think the view it provides is superior ! The room stays a lot cooler now and is still bright and cheerful !

They did an excellent job, a little pricey but the work has a lifetime warrenty.

The product kept "excess" heat from entering my house throughout the day. As a result of this, my air conditioning costs were greatly reduced. I am able to see clearly from the inside of the house to the outside, yet shielded others from looking into my windows from the outside.

The salesman was good at explaining the differences in the products and did not necessarily try to sell us the most expensive one.  When I called them back after getting a couple of other estimates, they came out quickly andd the two men who came did a good, professional, neat job.

After 4 years one of the windows cracked because of thermal heating. The warranty on the tinting material took care of the replacement of the window and the tinting.
