"To be truthful i was very skeptical hiring anyone to put on a new deck because of all the horror stories you hear of contractors taking your deposit and never returning to finish the job. BUTâ ¦ meeting with Jacob Quick made it all very easy. I met with Jacob many times because of my apprehension and having issues with making decisions. After signing a contract, Jacob kept in contact with me on starting date, permit issues, when materials would be delivered, and if there was inclement weather conditions that they could not work that day. From the start of teardown to the finished project, they were there every day at 7:30, making sure that time was ok with me. They had a crew of 4-5 people working all day. When an issue came up, they were up front and we discussed it. I felt very relieved that all the guys were very knowledgeable and experienced. I am picky when it comes to details and the entire crew were all very concerned about the littlest details. Brian was also great at answering my questions as the deck was being built. They wanted me to be highly satisfied and i surely was. Not only did they do an outstanding job building the sturdiest deck around but when they left my house, you couldn't even tell they were thereâ ¦ my yard was clean. Soâ ¦ yes i would hire them again. They made the entire experience easy peasy for me. Also kudos to the other guys on the team who also worked their butts off in the 100 degree weather. "Hired Detailed construction workers to install a dog door on an existing door. The worker first cut the hole for the dog door and then ended up cutting the hole bigger. Them Then the hole was to big for the dog door to be installed. I ended up having to run to Home Depot to get another dog door that was bigger. He went ahead and installed the bigger door after cutting the hole he previously made even bigger. The dog door that is installed now is too big for the door doing all the way up to the window area of the door. The door that closes the door so dogs are kept inside will hardly open. There is gaps between the dog door and the wooden area of the door which now requires the entire door to be replaced. The door is not a standard size door so it will have to be custom ordered costing over $800. The worker was very unorganized and kept having to stop and make several calls for someone to bring him things he needed. This took him over 5 hours to do boot finishing until 11pm. He came out today and corrected the gap on doggy door make it fully sealed, he was supper helpful to make sure I was satisfied with the worked."
