"Rick is one of the best contractors I have worked with. He has done my cabinets my counter top and back splash and he just finished installing a new floor. He has done a fantastic job on all of it and I am ready to hire him for my next project. He is a busy guy so you have to wait a little to get him but he is well worth the wait. l"

"Aaron is professional, communicative, and a problem solver. He went above and beyond for us and in a timely manner that allowed us to list our house on the market asap. He saved us from having to replace the entire cabinets (and countertops), by repainting the boxes and installing all new solid maple fronts, including refacing the old drawers. The labor was maybe a bit pricey esp. compared to DIY, but the quality is superb and we avoided the higher cost of total replacement. Headache free. We are glad we chose Aaron!"

Customers say: Quality work

"These gentlemen installed 2 lights/fans, fixed a cabinet door, hung a cabinet, installed a towel rack, and found a leak coming from a shower drain that no one has ever been able to locate. I was very impressed with their skills and will definitely call them again."

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, new bathroom cabinets made from a quality material can increase home value. Updated cabinets enhance the overall look and functionality of the bathroom, making it more appealing to potential buyers. Additionally, they create a sense of cleanliness, an essential factor for homebuyers. Investing in new cabinets is a cost-effective way to modernize your bathroom's aesthetics and usability, which is a win-win for your home's market value.

The cost to install soft-close drawers professionally typically ranges from $40 to $100 per drawer. If you prefer a DIY approach, you can purchase the necessary hardware yourself. Soft-close inserts usually cost between $15 and $25 per drawer, while soft-close drawer slides can range from $5 to $230 each, depending on factors like quality, quantity, and type (e.g., heavy-duty, side mount, under mount, or self-closing). Investing in soft-close mechanisms can be worthwhile as they eliminate slamming and may help extend the lifespan of your drawers.

Medicine cabinets are not necessarily outdated, but they have evolved in design and functionality. However, some homeowners prefer other storage solutions, like wall-mounted shelving or modern vanity cabinets with built-in storage. Still, medicine cabinets remain a practical and space-saving choice in many bathrooms. In most cases, potential home buyers won’t be swayed by a medicine cabinet one way or the other.

The standard kitchen soffit begins at least 7 feet and 1 inch above the floor. In kitchens with very high ceilings, the soffit height may be taller. Consult your kitchen remodeling contractor about the best soffit dimensions for your kitchen to ensure high-quality and visually appealing results.

Whether you install flooring before or after kitchen cabinets depends primarily on the type of flooring you are using. For materials like hardwood, tile, and sheet flooring, the best practice is to install the flooring first. This ensures the cabinets are installed at the correct height and on a stable surface. However, you should not install cabinets on top of floating floors, such as laminate or luxury vinyl plank (LVP). These types of flooring need room to expand and contract with temperature and humidity changes. Placing heavy cabinets on top can restrict this movement, potentially causing the floor to buckle and making the cabinets unstable. For floating floors, install the cabinets first and then lay the flooring up to them. Other reasons to consider installing cabinets before the flooring include saving money on materials (since you won't need flooring under the cabinets) and avoiding potential damage to your new floor during cabinet installation. Additionally, installing cabinets directly on the subfloor might prevent voiding your flooring's warranty.
