I had three chimneys and one rock foundation repaired. Rich the owner walked me through what was needed. I agreed and had a start date and a finish date. Came on time and finished on time. I was pleased with the quality of the repairs. Reminded me of the craftsmanship the old timers did when...

The technician came out to snake the tub drain which was draining slowly. He used a motor powered cable to snake it. It was very rough and I could feel the vibrations from it all the way outside on the deck. When I went downstairs, there was water pouring from the ceiling and down the walls...

Provided an estimate and no hidden charges. Work was done in a timely manner and am 100% satisfied. Tore down old deck and built new deck to include a roof, electric, and a ramp. Will definitely use him in the future for any other projects.

They were very professional. Explained the problem and solutions and scheduled repairs as soon as they could fit it in. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area very clean.

Repaired 4 different items. Applied discount for being a service plan customer, but did not apply the $59 credit from the Big Deal.

"Kyle responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I sent a picture of what we needed fixed. He gave me a reasonable quote and came out the same day and got it done. He repaired a section of vinyl siding that had come loose and ripped off in a storm. He fixed that and then proactively repaired and reinforced some other areas that were likely to come loose down the road. Great work."

"Inadequate footing was poured for the 2 main posts. I requested a 3 post and told it was adequate. Within weeks one of the 2 posts buckled. It was repaired and a 3rd post added. The added 3rd post also had inadequate footing. The entire deck began to sag. The last day they were here they left tools in the yard and never returned. THEN I hired another contracted who had to lift the entire deck up with a series of jacks. The old footings barely were deeper than ground level (on a slope). New footings were poured and main posts were all re-aligned. Numerous lag bots were added. Hurricane ties were used to keep the roof from lifting in strong winds. Three posts were added where the deck was anchored to the side of the house. Two more posts were added at the exterior stairway and on the opposite side of the deck to prevent sway. A Double stringer was used to reinforce for sagging down the underside of the middle of the deck. If not for the work by the 2nd contractor I believe the deck would have shifted and collapsed."

FAQs for deck repair projects in Crocker, MO
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
The cost to professionally pressure wash your deck is $150 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $600, depending on the size of your deck and its condition.
For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.
You should have your deck professionally cleaned twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall. A springtime cleaning wipes away grime and mold that accumulated during the wet winter months, making it sparkly clean for summer use. Likewise, cleaning your deck in the fall allows you to wash away grease and leftover mess from the fun summer months rather than letting them soak into your deck over the winter.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
