"Jo and Lee Allison are the owners of the company, and I found them via Angi. I was apprehensive in working with contractors before, but they changed my opinion. They were very attentive to my needs, not forcing anything at me. Listened carefully, and were very accommodating to help make the total project work right. Super friendly people that were nice to my wife and kids. They gave great value for reasonable price, and went above and beyond to ensure things I didn't even ask for were taken care of. Very competent in what they do, and I am happy with the two slabs they did for me of 13 yd3 in total. They also worked long days and even in the rain and at night to help make sure their work met the grade. I took care of the payment to the cement company and paid them separately, and it all worked out fine. I would definitely recommend them for their honesty, hard work, competency and good nature to take care of anyone with a home project."

"Kyle responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I sent a picture of what we needed fixed. He gave me a reasonable quote and came out the same day and got it done. He repaired a section of vinyl siding that had come loose and ripped off in a storm. He fixed that and then proactively repaired and reinforced some other areas that were likely to come loose down the road. Great work."

"Working with Joe and Cheyenne was a wonderful experience. Joe Ingram was forthcoming with me on the phone which I appreciated. He never rushed me off the phone and was honest with me. Told him what I thought I wanted for my new deck and he delivered so much more. His input along with his worker Cheyenne's suggestions really made my deck come together beautifully more than I was hoping for. Joe always followed up with me to see how things were going or if I had any questions/concerns. Oh, did I mention I also had a deadline when it needed to be done by. I have to tell you, Cheyenne is a very dedicated hard worker and he got the job done ahead of my deadline and didn't cut corners. I am impressed with the wonderful job he did. I LOVE my new deck. I would hire them again and I do recommend Joe Ingram & Sons !!"

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Whether you buy a prefabricated shed or build one depends on why you need it and where you stay. For instance, if a simple garden shed is what you’re after, it’ll be less expensive to buy one already built. But if you want a shed with windows, plumbing, and electric work, a custom-built unit might be more suited to your needs.

Due to the expansion of the tiny house movement, you can usually find tiny houses to buy in your state. Prices range considerably based on size, style, and type. If you’re looking for a tiny home that’s move-in ready, you may be able to find a good deal to buy or a prefab dealer near you.

Technically, most states allow tiny homes, but it depends on the definition of tiny and whether the structure is permanent. Zoning laws regarding home size and construction are significant factors. For instance, a tiny home may be legal as a recreational vehicle in most areas, but you may only install it on a property if it complies with building and zoning codes.

Whether pole barn posts should be set in concrete depends on the soil surrounding your home. If your soil is compact and digging conditions are agreeable, then setting pole barn posts in concrete is an ideal option.

A simple A-frame chicken coop can take as little as three hours to build, but a more substantial all-in-one coop to house a large flock can take four or five days to build. Consult a local handyperson or custom coop builder for a time estimate based on the specific details of your project.
