We have an 8 man crew and can handle interior and exterior jobs. New construction or residential repaint. We have experience in siding replacement/wood rot and staining as well. We have done work for the following: EE Devco, Platinum reality, Primetime painting, various home owner associations, Ready turns, PJB construction, and smithville housing authority We carry insurance and can potentially adjust liability amounts if necessary. We have never had to have a claim before. We have our own vehicles and equipment. I have been painting for almost five and the rest of the guys have at least two years experience. Many types of exterior paint last five to 10 years. Factors that determine exterior paint’s lifespan include the type of paint, type of siding, climate, and the quality of the primer and paint. For example, wood siding will require a fresh coat of paint more frequently than paint on brick.

It typically takes three to five days to stain a fence, though most of that time is spent—literally—watching paint dry. The main issue is that you can’t stain a wet fence because the stain won’t sink into the porous grain of the wood. That means you’ll need to wait 24 hours to stain your fence after you wash it and 12 to 24 hours between each coat. Most people spend about an hour staining per 10 to 20 linear feet. 

The general consensus is that two coats of stain are required and since the cedar is siding, a third coat of sealant is always a good idea. This helps protect the wood and stain, so you won’t need to resand and restain for at least a decade. Each stain after the first will darken the wood, so be aware of that when choosing a colored stain.

If you want to achieve a deeper, darker stain color, wait 5 to 10 minutes before wiping it off. However, wipe it off faster for a lighter tone. When wiping off the stain during this part of the process, be sure to work in the direction of the wood’s grain for best results.

The best way to prepare your vinyl fence for a paint job is to clean it with warm, soapy water and rinse it with a hose or pressure washer on a low setting. Be sure to let it totally dry, then sand the surface before applying an epoxy-based primer. After the primer, you're ready to paint your vinyl fence.
