It was going to need several yards of dirt that had to be wheelbarrowed up a steep hill all done by hand, hill was to steep for machinery to be used. They took care of our historic home well and were thorough throughout the job with their cleanup, making sure every nail was picked up afterwards and every shingle accounted for.
