"It went very well. Tom did a great job designing a patio I never would have imagined in an otherwise useless area of our yard, helping to make more of our property functional. "Really, my only suggestion to them would be to cut the metal railings on a disposable tarp, and haul them away. Doing the metal cutting on the deck was not in the best judgement, nor is blowing the shavings into the yard. My pet could have easily have some shaving embedded in its paws. "Jim recommended not replacing the posts because they were in good condition.  He said to cut off the tops of the posts and place covers on instead.  He also installed bracing at no charge on one side of deck because it was not stable. We will certainly consider The Hungry Carpenter for future projects.
